Black Magic 120164 Factory Black Trim Restorer

I have tried many products that claim to do the same thing. Manufacturers that are big names that I’m sure we all trusted and paid good money for because we only want the best for are vehicles.My expectations were at a very low level considering the products that I have used in the past lasted a few weeks at best. Yes the others had a full bottle but I have other things to do on my weekends then applying trim restorers to my Jeep Wrangler.This product went on very easy and looks good like the rest of them. The only difference is that two months later my Wrangler trim still looks like the day i bought it.I purchased two more bottles of this product for the future.I am very happy and highly recommend this product.

I recently picked up a 2009 Ford escape. It was in decent shape but the plastic trim under the doors and on the bumper were pretty gray and faded, making it look older. I decided to try this. If I ordered it and received it the next day and time to apply it. As you can see in the pictures, I think it worked pretty well and my used car looks better than when I bought it. I’m probably going to order another small bottle to do a second coat, although just the first coat made a huge difference.

It did make the fenders look better after I used it, but it was not as dramatic a difference as I thought it would be.

It was a lot of money for one use

This product is very small in it bottle. It came with gloves which I didn’t need. Next time I’ll buy it at Walmart instead where it comes in a bigger bottle for the same price. The durability on this product is amazing. It’s very easy to use if you get the funders pretty much clean. It is restored the color to the good or better than when I bought it. Of course I want that appearance overall I feel like I wasn’t bait and switched I give it five stars. The appearance and performance are exactly what I was looking for. I’m sure it’s not made in America, but who knows.

4 months since restoring my grey truck trim to black and still looking great. Hope it lasts at least a year but too soon to tell.

My flares are 12 years old, faded pretty bad. So to be fair, this stuff might work if you bought a gallon of it, spent a whole Saturday applying it to your flares. This bottle only did one coat on two of the four flares. One coat doesn't do much on really faded flares. I wouldn't recommend this item unless you're doing a small job that isn't faded too bad.
