Almost great but....
This holds my 12" x 20" 3/8 steel plate very solidly but when I went to do a dry fit so I can take photos, I noticed the bracket that holds the actual target was cracked or starting to crack. The last picture shows it. Otherwise, this system seems like it holds it solidly. I'm just a little concerned about the crack that was there and how well it will hold up during shooting. It shouldn't be that bad because I'll only be shooting it with 9mm and at distances recommended. Anyways, for the money, it seems like a decent target stand if the bracket holds up. Will be testing it tomorrow on the property and will update.

Some design flaws, but decent quality for the price.
My two gripes with this stand are:-You have to drill holes in the 2x4, one person hits low with a large caliber and there will be much more downtime. It seems like a slip on setup would be very easy to do. You could always pre-cut and drill a few boards, so it's not a deal breaker.-Instructions are lacking. I am not always one to break out the instructions but when it comes to richochet and spalling flying back, I'd like more than just a picture for instructions. The stand itself does seem sturdy with the few rounds I have put into it. (Using a 3/8" steel hostage target)

Does it’s job for a lower price than most.
Does it’s job. Not the highest quality but I think the price reflects that. Shot the bolt and blasted it in half, but it can be replaced. My only real gripe is the setup requires drilling holes in the 2x4 so you’ve got to plan for that if you are bringing extras to the range. And you’ll need tools if you’re replacing anything.

Good stands
Good target stands. Just cut and drill the 2x4s before you go to the range and make extras. We eventually cut one in half with a few low shots that hit a knot in the 2x4. Assembly is not difficult if you bring the correct tools to the range. The feet are holding up well to the fragment splatter. I will buy more of them soon.

Great, but bring replacement bolts!
This worked great for three trips to the range. It stood up to over two thousand rounds without a scratch, except for the bolt that holds the steel plate. We shot it into pieces with a .308 on the second trip out. Just have someone weld a bolt to the back of the steel plate so it can't be hit. My only wish would be if it could fold up into a smaller package. It takes up a lot of room in the back of a car or truck. It's worth the price if you ask me. Would buy again.
