The condition said it was "acceptable." For the price difference between used and new, this was a bargain. When it arrived it was definitely in used condition. The cover was in perfect condition, and the pages had some highlighter markings in it but not terribly distracting. The "acceptable" condition in which I am referring to was the fact the hardcover had been completely detached from the pages. None of the pages were loose from one another. The book was in two pieces. I just glued it back together. Easy fix. Definitely worth the $60 price difference.
