I bought this to construct a 3-D printed Hydro tower, and everything arrived perfectly. Mine did not arrive squashed because I had ordered other things along with it so it came in a box. It’s not as bad as everyone is saying, it just needs to be shipped in a box instead of just a bag so it doesn’t get crushed. If the manufacturer could start shipping them in boxes, it would be a great product. They are also a bit smaller than I imagined, but that’s fine. 5 stars

Got these as a one stop shop after watching a Master Gardener class about aquaponics. So far, these are working great when inserted into a circle cut in a plastic yogurt container...My 2 concerns:1. Has anyone found a way to thread the wicks through the plastic net cup without damaging it? Crochet hook did the job, but snapped some of the connective plastic.2. How do people keep mosquitoes out? The grow medium doesn't expand to fill the pot so there is plenty of clearance for ankle biters to breed in there. I'm experimenting with a top dress of hydro clay beads, but if that isn't enough, maybe I will spike the water + fertilizer with mosquito donuts
