Easy to install! Most hardware tech thing I’ve ever done was replace a battery on my laptop but I just looked up a YouTube tutorial on how to remove my old graphics card and replace with this one and it went fine! I got my pc pre built for me so I realized that I needed to plug power into it, which my old graphics card did not need, so if you find yourself in my situation make sure to check the other side (back) of your pc and it may have extra power cords folded or wrapped at the bottom! This is the best performance I’ve ever had with my pc and I’m so happy to be able to play games smoothly!

I have this running on my Frigate NVR for decoding, detection, and GenAI and YOLO7 model for the detector. It powers 8x 1080p and 4K video cameras, which are configured to run simultaneously to record and detect objects. The detector inference speed is approximately 6 ms. It handles the workload like a champ, never missing a beat.

Not gonna lie, I was worried this would not be powerful enough to play the game I was wanting to play. But it surprised me! I play Monster Hunter Wilds on it and while the graphics are not perfect or the highest setting, and it does show polygons while loading in, the game play itself is smooth. My friend had an easy time installing it too.

Its a 3060 so its pretty good however a bit overpriced because my friend got a 4060 for cheaper then this 3060

When I got it, it was the perfect price for a card like it. Built a computer for a friend and they loved it. Get it when it’s BELOW $290.

This was an ideal choice for me because it balances standby power consumption with V-RAM and power. I run several 8B - 12B parameter large language models on here and the 12GB of video ram really increases performance over an 8GB card. I also run stable diffusion, and it generates a 50-steps image at 1k in about 30s. It's part of a consumer grade home server and is mostly used to accelerate machine learning tasks in my budget under $600 setup.I don't use it for gaming however you could argue AI workloads are more intensive in some instances and heat dissipation has never been an issue even when concept training stable diffusion on new subjects. It's a solid entry-level card and stays mostly quiet until you really push it and then the fan reminds you that it has an adequate cooling solution.I have a unique use case but the 3060 has always been considered a great entry to mid-range card and mine has been dependable under some brutal loads.
