Pawbreakers3 Candy for Cats Natural Catnip Toy

My friend's cats love it, ours were not interested at all. Guess not every cat has a weakness for catnip!

My cat has mixed views about these balls. He'll love them for a day and then leave them for a month, forgotten somewhere about the house. It's the forgotten part that can be an issue. He tends to remember them in the wee hours of a morn and the sound of those hard uneven spheres rolling across hardwood floors and my very uneven slate tiled kitchen floor has brought me terrified from my sleep on more than one occasion. For those of a nervous disposition you are warned!

My cats will either trap the ball against a wall so it spins as they lick - sounds very bizarre on hardwood floors from the basement. Or they stick their claws into it and hold it tight. Either way, these balls are a big hit. They are so hard, they take a lot of licks before breaking down. Major plus not having loose catnip floating around. They have not left any stains even when heavily licked and damp.

The size in the graphic on the product page clearly states these are 2.5 inches in diameter.As you can clearly see from the attached picture of what I received, they are less than 1.5 in, each.

I've seven (yes, 7) cats, all like catnip, but four of them can't pass up anything with catnip - except these Pawbreakers. I've tried scraping some off to expose more smell/taste, or wetting it, still no interest. I've even replaced the ball in one of their toys with a Pawbreaker, they won't even play with it. Anyone with much experience with cats, knows you can't predict what one cat will or won't like. I went on the basis of the comments on Amazon and another website, not one bad review. With seven cats I had no doubt someone would enjoy them, so I purchased the three pack, two are still in the package and will go to the humane society, hopefully a cat there will enjoy them. My cats love both the Yeowww and Cosmic catnip toys, but will also be interested for a short time with cheap catnip, so I am truly disappointed in these.
