Fragile
Could not find anywhere else. Use Caution when tightening screws because sash lock breaks easily.

Replacement perfection
Easy to install and perfect replacement for my broken window latch

These latches replaced the original latches that had been in place since 1998.
These were easy to install, but I did have to use the original screws. They are cast aluminum, so you can't (or, I wouldn't) try to "gorilla" tighten them. Just enough to make sure they tight.

Perfect match to replace existing latches
The original latches that came with the windows crumbled after a couple years. Hopefully, these replacement latches last alot longer.

They work as advertised
These latches were easy to install and fit my windows perfectly. About half the screws had excess paint on the screw heads. This paint is hard and brittle. Driving the screws in without trimming the excess paint scratches the window latches.

So easy to install. Took about four minutes each. Very pleased.

All 28 Window Locks Repaired by 13 year Old
Taught my 13 year old son how to change them out and he was able to change all broken locks in the house. I bought extra in the event more break. We don't use our windows often, but after 16 years in our home it seems that they break easy possibly due to the sun exposure and heat in Florida.

Compre 9 piezas y 3 de ellas se rompieron con solo atornillarlos en la instalación, el material es muy frágil, es común que se rompan del centro, tuve que comprar más porque en México no los consigo en ningún lado.
