This handy bluetooth diagnostics tester from TopDon is a great bit of kit for a home or professional user. I have owned and tested many other diagnostics products in the past and many are very expensive to this. I have installed the TOPDON software onto my Apple iPhone XR with ease . The installation process took around 10 minutes the longest part of the process was waiting for the account activation code however it arrived in 2-3 minutes the updates for vehicle coverage use a fair amount of storage space so if this is a device you use on a daily basis expect the storage space to be used up however you could alternatively use this on a spare tablet or older phone. The diagnostics process is similar to all other diagnostics erasing and reading faults is easy the unit itself is powered directly by the OBD port on the vehicle. The coverage is vast i have tested and confirmed operation on the following makes - Maserati, BMW, Nissan, Ford, Jaugar and Peugeot/Citroen. I have cleared airbag faults, service lights and various other engine related codes with ease. The OBD Reader is palm sized and is easy to keep in your vehicle or amongst your toolkit the app is bug free and i have had no issues with the software itself. Compared to other diagnostics testers suchas the Launch X431, Autoboss etc. this carries near on identical functionality at a fraction of the cost so you need not worry if this is left in your van or out in your car it is less likely to be stolen as it just looks like a very small device of little value however it is built well and to last. Overall i would give the device a 10/10 for value for money and ease of use. I gave the device to my wife to use who has zero knowledge of vehicles and trained her within 10 minutes of how to diagnose and read and clear error codes.

Don’t buy it!!! It says ‘Download app and use it’, but actually first of all there is no such app in App Store. Secondly found instructions on youtube but its very complicated way to do it: you download some third party app, don’t open it and go to topdon website to download other app on top of previous one, and still at the end it says ‘this app currently not available in your country’ which is UK. And of personal reasons I can’t return it now after 30 days even if doesn’t work

It says it’s iOS supported but when you search it on the App Store etc It says it isn’t available on the App Store etc, would not recommend

Recieved this very quickly as my last obd reader didn’t come to my needs. This reader does everything you need . Specific car makes and diderent sections of the car specifically. Amazing piece of kit . 100% recommend this product

I have some older OBD2 units but this unit is more complex. the software is easy to use and running health checks identified errors that I wasn't aware of and advised what i needed to do. Excellent purchase, its certainly been used since I purchased it.

O usato questo lettore di codici su una Fiat bravo 2007 benzina per un guasto al motore segnalato dal pannello con luce gialla morire. Lo trovato eccezionale. Pratico e molto completo. Ottimo per me che non sono un meccanico ma mi a permesso di ripararmi l’auto risparmiando tanti soldi e cancellando l’errore. Non sottovalutate questo apparecchio perché a tantissime funzioni oltre che al controllo dell’errore del tettino apribile

Habe den großen Bruder Phoenix Pro und wollte für mein Auto eins haben und bin sehr begeistert. Wie gewohnt von Topdon und alles funktioniert wie beschrieben

Für jede Option muss man Zahlen. Das steht aber nirgends!

Trotz der Verwendung der (professionellen) Bezahl-App auf dem iPhone hat das Produkt nicht die Auskünfte erteilt, die ich benötigt hätte. Tiefere Einblicke z.B. in Sensor-Daten wie Getriebetemperatur war mir damit nicht möglich. Für das, was ich da mehr als in der kostenfreien Version bekommen habe, lohnt sich die kostenpflichtige App aus meiner Sicht überhaupt nicht. Daher enttäuscht zurückgesendet und die App gelöscht.

Funktioniert prima auch das Schreiben. Verwende es für Fiat und Mercedes. Kann gewisse Rezessionen von andere Leute nicht teilen. Mir sind die 20 € Update die einmal im Jahr sind nicht zu viel.
