Easy, Quality Rice Maker
My first rice maker. Well worth purchasing. Now I can put the rice on to cook and leave the kitchen, not hovering over it to be sure the rice doesn't boil over. Easy to clean up afterwards. Cooks fast. Very durable. Cooks a large enough amount yet doesn't hog the kitchen counter when out. It sticks a little on the bottom and sides but is easy to wash off. Excellent product. I'm very glad I bought it.

Awesome product because everything is stainless steel / glass - NEVER COOK / boil IN PLASTIC!!!
Awesome product. Everything is stainless steel or glass. Note: You should never cook in plastic!!! Honestly, all plastic food cookers / plastic water boilers should be REMOVED from Amazon. It's toxic!!! You should only cook in glass or stainless steel people!!!!

The best rice cooker for daily use
Probably the best rice cooker I had in years. Being stainless steel - we are able to use it in dishwasher for cleaning, easy of use, and need not worry about non-stick coating

Efficient and safe! Cook multiple items at once!
Fantastic!!! Glad we found a teflon free option! I can cook rice on bottom and steam sweet potatoes on top or boil eggs on bottom and steam broccoli on top!!! The steamer basket is a game changer for prepping dinner or my child’s lunch box :)

Stick rice .
The media could not be loaded. Stick rice at the bottom of rice cooker. Waste much rice every day. Can not afford it. I am hipanic and I cook rice everyday.and I can not have left over for the next day because the rice got stuck and burn at the bottom of the rice cooker. I have to scrape the bottom of the pot as you can see in my video very hard to try to save some rice, but is imposible. At lease one cup of rice is wasted everyday. How do I know because I have to pour water in the pot over the burned rice to soften and wash the rice Cooker. For this I would like to request to return this product and get my money back. It fells very disappointed to experience this situation every single day I cook rice.

Stainless steel interior and a glass lid!
It can be a challenge to find a rice cooker that is not covered in teflon or some other anti-stick covering.Amora makes a great rice cooker. I have had this one for 12 years, bought another one for a party (it only lasted a month) this is the replacement for the 2nd one.Cleaning is easy, even if you get rice sticking to the bottom, just soak it. The only time we ever had rice burn was when my son did not add enough water. Soaked the bowl and it scrubbed/cleaned it in a few minutes.I would definitely recommend this rice cooker, it has been a good value.

It works with a few caveats to prevent boil over and scorched bottoms.
I grew up with Tiger basic rice cooker -- those are fantastic machines. I am now a mom and needed a new machine, purchased a smaller one similar to what my mom used, but the quality control was terrible (the cooking pot rim was crooked and sharp). I've tried Zoji Neuro Fuzzy but wasn't impressed that the bowl scratched within a few uses (always used plastic spatula that came with the machine and handwashed with soft cloth) and the rice wasn't that special. I then tried a cuckoo micom which was great! It cooked better than the zoji at half the price, but customer service told me that the battery will last about 3 years and once it dies, the machine needs to be serviced to put in a new battery in order for the cooker to work properly. I then dived into some research about best cookers out there and came across information that made me realize I want a stainless steel cooker to phase out "forever chemicals" in my home. So, I got a Buffalo rice cooker, but it took way too long to cook rice. Jasmine rice took 45-60 minutes. Brown rice took over 3 hours and the end result was awful. Took a chance on this humble Aroma 14 cup Select Stainless with steam tray.--PROS:- fast, cooks 2 cups of jasmine rice in 20 minutes- steam tray is very convenient. I steam frozen dumpling while I make rice and that makes for a quick meal with a side of soy sauce/vinegar/sugar/sesame oil/water dipping sauce.- compact- easy to clean-- the inner pot, the lid are dishwasher safe (I always hand-wash though)- no ink printed on the inner pot so I don't have to worry about that getting ink into my food.-inner pot is stainless steel, the glass lid has screws that are metal, the plastic handle is on the surface opposite side of glass that is against the food.CONS (and solutions):- it sticks, real bad, you lose rice, and you lose time to scrub that off. (As soon as the switch clicks from cooking to keep warm, UNPLUG the unit, and with mits/ towel, ever so carefully REMOVE the inner pot with lid on it to a different surface to cool for 15 minutes. I put mine on my concrete counter top, but you can rest on a kitchen pad, your stove top, etc. AFTER 15 minutes, carefully remove the lid. There will be steam. Fluff your rice.)- it boils over (Always WASH RICE before you cook it. Use your hands to vigorously shake and agitate the rice grains under running water and empty the water, repeat until rice water is less cloudy. It won't be clear, but it'll be less cloudy. USE THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF WATER. TWO cups (the cup that came with the machine is approx 3/4 cup or 180 ml) of white rice and fill the water to the 2 line (you must cook minimum 2 cups in the 14 cup machine), etc. Follow directions for brown rice in the manual).- uneven cooking (Keep your rice cooker clean, especially the heating element. ALWAYS dry the outside of the inner pot before you place it in the rice cooker. Water or food bits on the outside of the inner pan will contact the cooking element causing burn marks and uneven cooking because it affects the conduction of heat). To make the rice extra fluffy, once you have cleaned and added the correct amount of liquid, let it sit for 30 minutes in the pot then push the cook button. This is why micom cookers take longer--it gives the rice time to soak, then it cooks, then it cools down before it give you the beep to know rice is ready. But some machines, such as the Buffalo, takes way too long.It is a simple machine that works fairly well.I'm looking forward to Aroma one day making a MICOM rice cooker with stainless steel inner bowl and stainless inner lid. Ideally it'd have a "quick" cook function with steam option, including a stainless steel steam tray. I don't understand why anyone would want to put plastic steam trays in their rice cookers. Anyway, I'd be the first to purchase it. Hint hint Aroma, there are many out there like me ready for this product. Bring it!

Great non-tox & cooks LOTS !!!
My new fav rice cooker, it’s non-toxic stainless steel & cooks LOTS of rice! Haven’t used the steam function with the tray yet bc it’s not something we really use. But after searching hard for a good stainless steel non tox this is the best one and very affordable!
