This little bench is ideal for cats. The padded top is at a good height for optimum window lounging, the compartment underneath stores lots of toys, and the shelves are just the right size to hold a small to medium cat. I suppose you could also use it to hold shoes and gloves. It looks decent and is fairly sturdy, and most of the assembly was easy. The arm for the lid was a bit of a pain to install since the holes were not pre-drilled, but it was still manageable. If I got a second one I would skip the back piece because it looks cheap and isn't really necessary.

It was not so bad to put together. Our suggestion is to put the hinges on the top first, and THEN on the unit versus the other way around which is what the order of assembly in the instructions say. It did not come with cover-dots to cover up the screws on the sides and so you do see them. I'd prefer if they didn't show.It is good value for the money, was nicely narrow enough for the space we need. The only reason it was given a '4' instead of a '5' given the individual ratings were all 5's is that it is fabricated wood after all, and the part which helps hold the bench lid up was so strong as to not be useful. So we didn't use it. (but a good thing about not using it is that it is likely to be kept closed. :-)I don't know it's durability yet, but otherwise I would buy again.

So I bought this. Since we don’t walk inside with shoes on. Yet we always just leave themBy the door. So I was tired of everyone’s damn shoes all over the side of the door. So I wanted a shoe holder/ organizer. Yet I wanted it to go with my homes esthetic. Like look classy/ modern. Not like your good will. Lol. So I ordered it. Put it together myself. I think I did a pretty good job . The instructions will be hard if you’ve never built anything yourself. Like if you don’t know how to use an Allen Ranch/screws 🤣🤣🤣 or own a screw driver. If you have all that . Or even a drill shoot you’ll have this built in under 20 min. I took about a solid 30 bc my drill was dead so I had to use a screw driver. Other than that’ I have no complains! I love this !

Easy enough to assemble, looks nice in my entryway.

Works great for the area I use it in and looks great too. Perfect size in my smaller walk in closet and has good storage options.

This is a good little storage bench that I am pondering returning because it doesn't fit my needs. I should have checked the dimensions but the area under the seat should hold more than it actually does. I am also unable to comment on actually sitting on the bench because I highly doubt it would hold my weight.The construction is similar to ikea furniture. My package came with an allen wrench but there were phillips screws that needed to be used so I had to use my own screwdriver. Some of the pre-drilled holes were missing in the seat portion and in the back portion so I had to drill my own holes with a power drill. Attempting to screw in the screws into the seat was frustrating until I drilled my own holes.

I im very happy with this shoe rack. I had been looking for something that would work but many were more expensive than i could take for the time when i found this. Its price was within my range and looked nice so i got it.It arrived quite quickly and was decently easy to build. My only real complaints are that the seat is a little thin and i wish it was a little wider but other than that is quite comfortable. The building of it also is a bit rough due to the fact that there are little to no pre drilled holes which makes it difficult but not impossible to put together.All in all its not bad but could be a bit better.

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice entryway bench that is priced correctly. It's of good quality (not cheap and not deluxe). The box was in good condition and the bench was correctly packaged; there were no parts damaged nor missing.The assembly of the bench:There were some small issues during assembly but they were easy to fix and after a full hour the bench was completely assembled.Picture #1 shows all the hardware included. They added a few screws more than necessary in case of loss during assembly.Picture #2 shows all the parts once unpacked and cleaned of any dust from the factory. There are only 11 parts numbered from 1 to 11.Picture #3 shows an issue that I encountered during the assembly. One of the holes of part #7 wasn't aligned (part #7 is on top of the divider of the shelf). Trying to install the screw would have crooked the shelf divider. The correct resolution was to craft another hole next to it (not too close though) so that the divider stays in its right position. This alteration is completely hidden by the bottom piece of the storage compartment that slides inside in place as seen in the picture.Picture #4 to #8 show the bench fully assembled without defect.My opinion:This bench is one of the best looking one available and it isn't expensive. It's sturdy even though it's built using 1/2" (12 mm) melamine; 5/8" (16 mm) would make a stronger bench. The storage compartment is quite small, measuring only 2 1/2" in height (63 mm). Don't expect to store shoes there. Maybe 8 pairs of woolen slippers or 3 pairs of beach sandals would fit perfectly there. So in my opinion it's a buy.

Arrived on time and well packaged.Pretty easy step by step instructions. I think it actually looks better IRL than in the ad. Perfect height for me, at 5'10", to sit on while putting on or taking off shoes. Very sturdy and seems built pretty good for the price. Does the job of storing our shoes and other outdoor sundries in a spot right by the front door.Would buy another if ever needed.
