Got this for while my wife goes through chemo.. It comes with batteries but without any Purell gel, you have to purchase this separately.It's sturdy enough, comes with a large sticky pad on the back the size of the unit..The gel packs are not so cheap at almost £40 for two which really hikes up the price but, I'm very pleased.The unit takes the 1.2 Liter packs of gel and dispenses just enough for a single use each time you place your hand underneath. It's such a small amount that each pack should last weeks, even months in a domestic setting..
