great art hanging system, worth the price
I invested in a STAS cliprail pro system for three walls of my apartment, and regret nothing. It's pricey to set up, mostly that the individual hanging pieces are more expensive than just nails. But not by so much! And the system gives me the flexibility to put art anywhere, move it around, not have to measure and drill holes everywhere. I'm sure my landlord is happier with the few screws into studs that attach the rails near the ceiling. It also makes arranging art so much easier for a single human. If you're looking at this item, probably you already are invested; but if not, get the cliprail pro and get to hanging art!

Holds a 10,000 piece puzzle picture
I recently ordered a picture hanging system that would make it easy to rearrange my artwork without adding new holes in the wall. My son and grandson put the system on 3 walls in my livingroom in roughly 40 minutes. The largest framed picture was a 10,000 piece puzzle that my daughter-in-law put together. It's the width of a full size bed. She had the puzzle framed while living in Germany. In Europe pictures are made ready to hang with small metal tubes located on each side of the frame. This means you would need two nails for each frame. It's a balancing act that could easily result in multiple nail holes. The STAS system has made it so easy for me to display my art.

A little pricey, but worth it
I love this system. We've used it for about thirty pictures in three different rooms so far, and we're not done yet. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is good.

Great product. Would buy again.
I purchased the STAS system about a month ago and just got around to putting it up. It lived up to all my expectations. The only problem (not really a problem) was to “Cli ck” it in place took a little more oomph than expected. A sharp hit with my hand and it clicked into place. Some folks complain on other sites that the pictures tend to twist to one side or the other. I made sure that the clip was hanging straight before hanging the pictures on the hanger. There is some torque in the line and if you have the clip hanging straight this will not be an issue. This system works best with saw tooth hangers at the top. With a wire the pictures may tilt away from the wall a bit depending on how high up the wire is on the back of your frame. This also was not a problem for me as a slight angle at the top of the picture (away from the wall) helped to cut down on reflections on the glass. I had not realized that the Smartspring hooks did not come with the additional Cobra line that I ordered. I also had an issue with a missing part. STAS shipped me a replacement part AND the Springhooks at no additional shipping charge. For this reason I would order the system directly from STAS as other vendors might not be so forthcoming. A big shout out to Elizabeth Robison with Customer Service ; she was amazing. If I could rate them a “10” out of 10 I would. Am already considering another one for another room.

Holds artwork up and the clear cords don't look strange like steel cables do.
I use it to hang my photographs. It is easy to keep rearranging them and changing what is hung. Can put up a couple of big ones and swap for a group of small ones without making holes in the wall. Height is very easy to adjust.

Hang in There
Love this entire system! In my opinion this is the best was to hang your art work. You can change, move and adjust the height of anything you hang in your walls. The flexibility of this system makes it a real winner!
