First off, I want to address that I do have a very high tolerance to pain so for me, the highest level I've been able to do is between a 5 and a 7, there is a total of 10 levels. The next thing I want to make sure people know is that if you do this to areas where there is hair, it doesn't get the results you are wanting. The best way to use this IPL is first shave the hair that you are wanting to zap. From there, I make sure that I exfoliate the area very well with an exfoliating scrub and a loofa scrub. Once done, I rinse and make sure the area is completely dry. That is when I will use the IPL. For my armpits and legs, I use between a level 6 or 7 and after using this twice a week for about a month, I am seeing less and less hair. While there are some still there, it's not as full and doesn't require me to shave or wax as often. Not to mention, some of the thicker and coarse hair that I did have, those are the ones that keep reappearing, however, they are more thinner now. When it comes to the bikini area, I do the same but for there, I'm at a level of 5 now but that did take some time to get used to. I do the inside of my thighs which differs between a 5 or 6 and then closer inside it's more of a 5. There I am still getting some hair but it's not as much and I'm seeing some of the hairs become thinner too. This IPL is very easy to hold and use. Afterwards, I do recommend using a moisturizer afterwards and not just lotion. After about a months worth of use, I am very happy with my results and will continue to use this. It is important to stay on schedule with this as this does help.

I’ve been on hormone replacement therapy since menopause and one of the side effects of testosterone is hair growth on my chin and even my neck. The medication prescribed to combat this simply didn’t work for me so every day I found myself tweezing. It’s annoying to have to tweeze every single day. I’ve been using this device for about four weeks, twice sometimes three times a week. I use on level 10. Doesn’t hurt at all. I’ve seen a significant reduction in growth already and will continue to use. Even if I have to do maintenance after the 18 week cycle, I’m okay with that because this beats tweezing any day. Plus I’ve noticed the hairs that do come back in are notably smaller and much easier to tweeze out. Some of the follicles were so deep that the hairs would break off when attempting to tweeze or I would have a tug of war just to get them to come out. This is no longer the case using this IPL. So for me, this was a fantastic investment.

I don’t usually write reviews but I love this product.I actually didn’t think it would work but it did!I only used it on my right leg so far.Photo showing difference between 2 legs, the right leg after 4 weeks of treatment per instructions ( 3 times per week, 2 radiation per session at strength 10 ), left leg was never treated, both legs are always shaved at the exact same time. Now my right leg’s hair is much slower. So happy with this product!

I'm 3 weeks into using this, so I can't give a final review. But I wanted to stop in and report how it's going so far. I started out using a level 1, each time I used it I'd go up a level. I'm now on level 10. I try to use it 3 times a week, I think I've been good at maintaining that schedule. I use it as directed, it takes about an hour to do both legs and underarms. I don't really like that it takes so long, but I do it in bed or in the living room. I have high hopes for this little device! :-)UPDATE!... I'm now 8 weeks into using this device, it has dramatically changed the texture and speed of growth of my leg hair. It also looks like my hair is more sparse than it used to be. I haven't noticed as quick of results with my underarm hair, but I think the hair is growing back more slower in that spot. I am very thrilled that this thing actually works! I used to have very coarse black and dense hair on my legs that grew fast. Now the hair grows back very fine and soft, and it takes a while for it to grow. I used to have to shave everyday, now I only have to shave twice a week. I have used this thing faithfully as the directions are stated, it's been a commitment but it is worth it! I plan to continue using it, eventually I will start treating other areas of my body.

It is very convenient to use, much more convenient than using a razor alone. I have used several kinds of hair remover before, some of which will make me feel hot when using for a long time, but this one will not. It has different model can be changed, and I can switch according to my needs.It also comes with a razor and sunglasses that protect against uv rays.Besides, the packaging is beautiful.And it's easy to use.Most importantly, it doesn't hurt.

Since arrival, 6/4/2020, I have used it only for facial hair (male, removing beard) removal.I have 1281, see image, pulses until now, that is 3 weeks of pulsing with 1 week of letting the hair grow ( week 3 after the first 2 weeks). In short, I am not sure it is working perfect, but might be doing something.A few insights:1. My beard still grows regularly, so I am not sure if it works, but maybe in a few weeks I will get the benefits. Maybe!2. After a couple of minutes of use, the device is hot and takes more time to recharge between shots/pulses. It is then that I just let it rest and will comeback to it later.3. The number of levels seems to me as not important at all, because the goal is to use the highest, to burn the hair. Thus, 10 levels or 5 levels seems to me of no importance.4. What is important is the Joules (J) or Watts (W) of the device, that reflects the energy of each pulse of light. The higher it is the better burn of hair follicle you will have.I hope it is enough info to make your own decision.
