Easy to use

Makes good, clean, properly sized holes. Did not hold the Orbit brand nozzles very well in the holding feature of the tool. Wound up gripping the tool around the nozzle to make sure it did not 'slide off' when inserting. But at the end of the day, it made holes and helped insert nozzles. The tool looks a bit beat up at the nozzle holding feature...and I did less than 50 insertions. Good occasional home user tool, but not a pro-grade tool, and for the price you should not expect pro-grade.

Good tool

This 2-in-1 drip irrigation punch set technically works — but just barely. The hole punch does function, but it’s not as sharp or sturdy as it should be. I had to apply more pressure than expected just to get a clean hole in standard tubing. The real letdown? I tried using the back end of the handle to install a drip emitter (as advertised), and the plastic deformed before the emitter even went in. Pretty frustrating when you’re trying to set up a system and end up wrestling with a flimsy tool instead. It’s okay in a pinch or for small projects, but if you’re doing more than a few emitters, I’d recommend spending a few extra bucks for something sharper, stronger, and more reliable.

this tool set takes the trouble out of attaching drip lines to supply piping, making easy to perform punctures in the 5/8OD plastic pipe and using the second tool for easily inserting 1/4" fittings into those punctures. my fingers and hands are thankful!

This is a god sent purchase, the punch is quick and easy to operate, created the perfect hole even in tight spaces hard to reach. cost was great and well worth it, shipping was superfast and free too. Love it!
