Great tools for modeling when you are starting out

Perfect set for building metal model kits, which is what I use them for. This is a must have for assembling the models, it makes the process so much easier and they will come out better. Only other tool you will need is tweezers, I grabbed some from dollar tree and now the set is complete. I definitely recommend.

I guess ve it 4 stars. 80%=of the order was perfect. The taper tool to Bend tabs is great. The nippers are perfectly designed to fit in the small spots and cut cleanly. There were two quality problems with the set. The long nosed pliers are not well made and the ends do not close. The bending rod(the long rectangle piece with a slot in the middle) was inconsistent with the slot and had burrs that scratched my photo etched parts. I solved the problem with some 600 grit sandpaper and used a razor blade to open the slot wider.

Ordered these after starting my first kit and hitting a roadblock due to lack of proper tools to help with the minute tasks. I ordered these along with some tweezers and am successfully building these kits.

All of the tools are great and are easy to use, but the needle pliers I received are bent and were not cut properly. Since I’m using these for small build projects, these are the pliers I use the most and not being able to properly grip what I need with them has been frustrating. Luckily, the additional rounding and squared tools have been helping, but the quality of the pliers is not that great. I know this is a pretty cheap kit, so it does fall in with the “you pay for what you get”

Used for small metal models and does it's job

These are way better than the garbage at hobby lobby (wish I hadn't wasted money) or other places. They are accurately described and no gaps or misaligned and made with sturdy metal!Will definitely only suggest these for people just starting out because they are quality and for the price that's great. Not everything cheap is cheap you do find quality at a great price sometimes!Would have no problem referring this product to anyone.
