Love this EXPRESSO blend
This is a expresso blend with medium intense rich flavor, It smell fresh and rich, i just ground it every morning for freshness, and it tastes great. I order several in the nice cube box for gifts in Christmas and gave it to my friends and my neighbors , they don't stop telling me what a great coffe, where can I buy it. Now is very convenient in Amazon or directly in the cubico coffe web page, but Amazon is a great deal, I can't believe how they can sell such a wonderful coffe at this convenient price, delivery was super fast with a prime account. I order it every month. Each month I tried a different flavor, imposible to say which one is the best. Buy and try, you will never go back to supermarket regular coffee.Excellent presentation and super fresh. Love it.

Delicious full bodied fresh roasted Coffee with a chocolate Carmel taste
The Peaberry Coffee is the 2nd type we have ordered from CUBICO as we were very impressed with their Espresso coffee. I invited a couple of people for afternoon Coffee time. When I opened the bag the rich smell the rich chocolate aroma was evident to all. The Coffee Beans are lighter and small than the Espresso Blend I previously ordered. We ground the coffee right after everyone had a chance to experience the aroma. My Husband being an ardent coffee consumer of high quality coffee we of course own great electric coffee grinder. We followed the directions and just used a bit more water and the Coffee was perfect for us. When we roasted the fresh grounds and poured the hot water into our French press it displayed a rich foamy layer on the surface of the Coffee. This shows that the coffee has been roasted just right and not dried out by over roasting. Each person tried the coffee black and later some added cream to taste. This is definitely a Gourmet Coffee company and everyone was impressed that the roasting date along with the person who roasted it was clearly display on the side of the bag. There was no doubt that the coffee was fresh but having the July 5, 2016 date was a plus. All present agreed that taste of Cubico Peaberry is that of a full bodied medium coffee with strong chocolate and subtle carmely highlights. I usually drink coffee with some type of non dairy creamer to hide any bitterness. The Peaberry roast has low acidity and no bitterness so I found it delicious black however I later added some coconut almond milk and a touch of stevia extract to make a latte. I purchased this the Peaberry variety mainly for myself as medium roasts are my favorite and I am delighted with it. While I usually add a small amount of Cacao powder to my Coffee Lattes I found there was no need to do so with the Cubico Peaberry. I have tried various other Peaberry coffees and this is my favorite so far. Very economical for a fresh Gourmet coffee. Most specialty stores that do their own roasting are more expensive from my experience. The bag arrived sealed and in another heated sealed bag. I really like buying from small companies who care about the quality of their product. This coffee is from a family business that started in 1887. I received this product at a discount in return for my honest review. All my reviews are my own and this time slightly influenced by the people I invited for taste testing but not by any discounts or sellers.

REHEATED COFFEE COLORED UP NICELY WHEN CREAMER WAS ADDED
I, like other reviewers, purchased this coffee Cubico Specialty Coffee - Espresso Blend Gourmet Coffee - Roasted Arabica Whole Bean - 12 Ounce (Dark Roast) at a discount for my honest review.I am not a coffee expert nor do I have a keen sense of smell which to my understanding diminishes my sense of taste. So, I guess I may not be the best judge BUT I do like a good cup of coffee or two in the morning. lolI was quite surprised by this coffee not actually appearing to be "dark" when compared to a different "dark" coffee ORGANIC DARK Signature Blend | Gourmet Whole Bean Coffee | French Roast | Rain Forest RFA & Free-Trade | Full-Body, Chocolate/Caramel, Bold, Rich Taste | Specialty Handcrafted 100% Arabica |1 LB I also purchased at a discount for my honest review. In my first photo I am showing the beans whole before grinding them. The second shows whole beans and also beans after they have been ground. The third picture shows the freshly ground beans on the left compared to store bought ground coffee. The fourth picture is the other brand coffee followed by a picture of it's beans before being ground. As I think you can see from the pictures the Stone Street dark roast coffee beans are in fact, much darker than the Cubico dark roasted beans. That was my visual first impression.I did brew the coffee in a drip coffee maker rather than an Espresso machine which probably didn't do this coffee justice. I found the coffee to be quite good. It is what I would call smooth with no bitter after taste even after I heated up a second cup. That's a lot to be said for a cup of coffee that has been reheated. Normally the ground store bought coffee isn't as good the second go round. If you add creamer to it, it doesn't color up in that "oh-so" fresh color of coffee but instead takes on the dreaded cloak of doom! If you've ever done this you will know what I mean.I couldn't detect all of the subtle chocolate notes mentioned on the description but I do know it made a decent cup of coffee.Like I previously said, I probably didn't due it justice by brewing it in a drip coffee maker so when I try my French Press I will update then. I don't own an espresso maker so that option is not available to me.UPDATE: 9/25/16I found that after trying a number of Cubico's coffees I have come back and ordered this one again. I'm adding two more pictures. One of a close up of the label and the last one of me holding these "shiny" beans. I had originally questioned the shiny beans when I first tried it but I have been on a coffee "adventure" this summer.Quite a few of the varieties I've tried have a bit of citrus to them but this one does not. This one has tastes like it was freshly ground. I do use sugar in my coffee but I tried a part of a cup without it. I can't say it's syrupy but there is a certain "sweetness" to it.Obviously I must like it because I've purchased it again at a reduced price for my honest review.

Give it a try
I must disclose that I received a discount on my purchase of this coffee.I am a coffee nut. I don't drink soda or any other type of "soft drink" I drink coffee, hot, cold anyway I can get it. But I do not drink instant and it has to be good coffee.I purchased this coffee just to see how it was. I have tried many different coffees in my life from all over the world and there are only a few that I like. I like this one. The flavor is rich without being bitter. And the aroma when I first opened the bag and when it is brewing is awakening. If you are a coffee nut like I am, find your favorite roast of Cubico brand and give it a try.

A wonderful espresso!
This is surprisingly good. Chocolate and smoke notes along with very little acidity make this an espresso to go to in a crunch. Very thrilled that it had just been roasted(roast date on the bag and was 2 weeks new!). Will definitely re-order to have in my stock.
