Cheap, But Good for *My* Purpose
These scrapers are cheap, but I bought them to cut washi tape on straight edges. That job, it does well. I haven’t tried using it for its intended use. I’d buy them again for cutting washi though and the extra blades are handy to have on hand.

The Widget Works
The Bates Razor Blade Scraper comes in a 2 Pack with 30 Extra Blades. This unit is much like a previous one I had but lost during a move. Generally, it's used to scrape paint, stickers, and other materials off of glass windows. The surface must be flat to be effective. I wouldn't try this on curved glass. Basically, the device is a razor blade holder. Because this holder is made of plastic, there may be long term limitations on durability, compared to using such a device made of metal. Also, the holder is relatively short so you may not get as good of a grip as you might with one that is longer. Since you get two holders in this package and so many blades, the economy more than makes up for any concerns about durability. I needed this for just one job and it did what it was supposed to do so I can't complain.Pros:- Inexpensive.- Plenty of blades.- Two holders for around the price of one!Cons:- Holder is mostly plastic.- Holder is small so your grip may vary based on hand size.

Prompt reply
One razor works and one is defective. The one scraper works fairly well. It is very light easy to handle. Seems like a good buy with the amount of extra blades that come with it. The defective one the blade slips out of the blade holder on the scraper and could hurt someone. The company replied quickly and resolved the issue and because of that I will do business with them again

Must buy
I wish I had thought about this tool earlier. I spent roughly an hour cleaning the entire oven using just water and the scraper, and the results speak for itself. It looks brand newI’m sure that if I had used an oven cleaning product would have been faster, but I have a curious kitten that was near me the entire time while I was cleaning it and I didn’t want her inhaling the fumes

Useful but Flimsy Razor Blades
Ordered this razor for cleaning purposes (scraping crud off windows, glass, stovetop, etc) and it arrived quickly. I’ve used it several times and noticed the razor blades seem flimsy or thin. They’re too flexible for my needs because they bend and don’t stay in the holder as well as they should. They include a lot of blades and depending on how you use this product, it might work better for you. I also felt like the holder didn’t lock the blade in place so the blade kept sliding back inside the holder (like you would store it with the blade retracted). It wasn’t expensive and I’ll use it because I now have it, but it could definitely be of sturdier quality.

Very poorly made
I hate to make negative comments. Unfortunately, the Bates Razor Blade Scraper is a totally useless tool - at least the one that was sent to me fits that description. It appeared to be good deal - two scrapers were included in the package along with a generous supply of replacement razors. The "good deal" quickly turned into a "you gotta be kidding me" scenario when I began to use the scraper. There is no way to "lock" the razor in place when you are in the process of scraping. You have to continuously "lock" your thumb in place to keep the razor from sliding back into the handle. When the razor is fully extended, it soon falls out of the holder. I had a metal scraper that lasted several decades and became lost - hence my order for a new scraper. Will be purchasing a quality metal scraper next.
