great book, i purchased for my master study in Sustainability management. it was so helpful and exactly fit to the class syllabus.

have to have it...what can ya do?

Eye opening and unfortunately, depressing - got it for a sustainability class. It'll make you feel like one person trying to turn a cargo ship around by yourself. A bit hastily written in places - some spelling or grammatical errors one thought would be corrected in a fourth edition, and more questions than substance in some chapters, but doesn't really affect it's real purpose - critical thought, and delving into industry myths, misinformation, and sins of omission - It does a great job of helping you with that. There is also a lot of information online to complement it, and the math problems are excellent illustrations of why our sheer numbers, consumption, waste and the rate at which they are rising will eventually threaten our very existence as a species if we don't change the way we do things.

Exactly as advertised. Very Satisfied with the product!
