Great visibility and very economical
The factory sights on my Ruger Mark IV were black on black and very difficult for me to pick up the front sight against my targets. This sight was easy to put in and worked great!! It's been on for a couple of years and I simply couldn't do without it!! Highly recommended for anyone who has difficulty using the factory sights. Economical and simple way to bring your handgun to the next level.

Only good thing to say about this sight..
Wonderful addition to my standard 22/45bull barrel pistol that came with a totally unmarked front sight. Happy with the EZ and solid installation as well. This greatly improved my target acquisition. And I did much better attaining my aim at points on target at the range today shooting with new front sight attached. (Also, my sight did NOT come with the mounting screw so save yours upon removing the plain stock one!) Also I installed my hi-viz sight using a bit of blue Locktite on the threads too to help keep it securely in place.

Better than stock
There are three tubes provided with the iron sight. I found that the red and green "light pipes" are less effective than the plain white dot insert. The light pipes don't conduct as much light as the plain white dot reflects off of it's rear surface. However I did not try all three outside under sunlight, so if you're going to use it with bright overheat light it may work well with the red or green tube. My Ruger 22/45 is for indoor use. It's good to have a choice and was an upgrade worth the price.

What a difference
Took my new bull barrel Ruger Mark IV 22/45 to the range and found the iron sights it came with the be nearly useless as they blended right in with the target, so I ordered this front sight replacement. It took less than a minute to make the switch and what a difference it made.

Fit the specified Ruger gun perfectly!
Bought for a Ruger MKIV 22/45 5.5" Blued and it fits perfectly and works great! Comes in new packaging and with receipt. Of note: It does not come with a screw, so you must use the one that came with your gun. One cannot ask for a more perfect order. Thank you!
