Q: My lo currently has a smartbug scooter (set up like a trike), do you think it'd be hard to adjust to how this rides (needs a taller seat)?

The seat can be moved up or down depending on the child's needs. No pedals on the scouter, so the toddler learns to move his/her feet to move the scouter. It is really stable and made well..no plastic. Enjoy!

My 15 month old daughter still has hers on the shortest setting on the adjustable seat. So I think your son will get lots of use out of it. :)

It does not come already assembled. You have to do it.
