I've tried other companies like grove and cheeky panda for toilet paper because I have very bad allergies to certain toilet papers but their deliveries would sometimes take over a week and then their toilet paper quality was inconsistent with splitting into two or being too thin.I've bought mother Earth multiple times and their toilet paper has always been the same and I usually get them the same week. They're also way better at keeping their toilet paper in stock. I also love how colorful the wrap is and the fact that each tissue is individually wrapped. Their easier to store without having to worry about them getting damaged.

The roll has a 3-ply 400 sheet. These last a long time. I like that the packaging is plastic-free

I like that there are no (supposedly) forever chemicals in this t.p. That's it. Nothing else about bamboo t.p. excites me. This brand feels softer than most others I've tried.

I've been using this brand of t.p. for about a year now. I wanted something that was environmentally sound and sustainable: It seems like bamboo is the way to go. This product, before the changes, was quite nice: outer wrapping is really cute and also compostable; the whole package is shipped in a cardboard box without additional plastic wrap so that is completely recyclable. Not as super-soft as conventional t.p. but given the environmental disaster associated with conventional t.p., I can forgo super-softness. I find that bamboo ones are sufficiently absorbent and soft enough. For awhile you could not get this product; I contacted the company and they said they were making some changes/improvements and it would be available later. It's been my experience that "improvements" usually are just the opposite with most things. But, in this case, I was pleasantly surprised: You are now getting more sheets per roll, and in order to fit on a standard t.p. holder (that is affixed to wall or other flat surface), they have reduced the size of the center roll, which is fantastic: I never understood why so many t.p. companies waste so much usable space with the center rolls. I also think that the new version is slightly softer and slightly thicker. Kudos!!

One would think, as it is 3-ply, that it would be thick; however you’d be wrong. Each ply is thinner than tissue paper. It is very rough not soft like other bamboo TP I have used in the past.

I have been using bamboo TP for some time now, but just experimented with Mother Earth because there were more sheets per roll. It is softer than most bamboo, very absorbent, and the paper in which it's rolled and the roll itself are all compostable. I think it's heinous that we cut so many forests down to the stumps for TP when bamboo grows so quickly and is so serviceable. I really love Mother Earth!

This bamboo toilet paper is one of the few TPs that doesn't chap, and it doesn't make me feel just plain old itchy, to be honest. And I have skin problems and whatnot.

Always on the lookout for best price and quality with bamboo toilet tissue. The center toilet tissue is the Mother Earth brand, with a 12 count price of about $2.34/roll. NooTrees brand (on the right) has the smallest rolls, AND the largest diameter cores of the four bamboo toilet tissues I have tried, with a 12 count price of about $1.50/roll. The roll on the left is from whogivesacrap nonprofit (surprisingly not available on Amazon!), and the cost is about $1.84/roll. Not pictured but purchased in the past from Amazon is Betterway Bamboo toilet tissue, currently priced at $2.50 per roll. The Betterway t.p. size/thickness/core size falls between the whogivesacrap and Mother Earth Brands. ALL of the brands sampled are listed as "3-ply" and each of the four brands is very close in softness/sturdiness. NooTrees is packaged in plastic (boo!), the other three brands are wrapped in paper and packaged in corrugated cardboard. whogivesacrap is a nonprofit that donates 50% of their profits. Mother Earth brand bamboo toilet tissue seems to be the best value on Amazon when compared to some of the other offerings.

The roll is thicker and lasts longer.

This paper was advertised as 'Ultra Soft & Strong 3-Ply Bath Tissue, " this is utter rubbish, it is NOT soft it maybe 3ply but it's thinner than normal 2ply paper and it falls to pieces once slightly damp, not ideal when you know what it's used for .
