Mr. Kate Winston Reversible Sofa Sectional, Blue Velvet

I wanted to redecorate my small apartment so I was looking for a very specific item. I had my heart and head set on a blue velvet couch with a chaise lounge that would fit nicely in a small living room space, along with a price range under $800 dollars. This proved to be an impossible feat, I search the internet for months, read hundreds of reviews and finally found what I was looking for here on Amazon. I was ready to hit purchase because I was so excited I finally found what I was looking for but decided to read the review, look at the pictures posted but something told me to research the seller because I had never heard of them and low and behold although I had finally found the couch of my dreams what I had been searching for, for months and the reviews of the seller was horrible, sketchy to say the least, bad BBB reviews, buyers had nothing good to say about the company, taken money with no product delivered, no return calls, emails from the company when people reached out so I wasn’t willing to take the risk even though there was one or two satisfied customers but $800 dollars was a lot of money to gamble with! So I decided to let it go and continue my search, just as I was going to give up my search and settle for my back up couch a grey velvet that I found on Amazon. But before I hit the button to purchase I did one last search, blue velvet couch with chaise lounge and low and behold it appeared like out of thin air, meant to be, so I quickly read the reviews, looked at the pictures, researched the company and this was it, everything was in place and for the price I was willing to pay! I couldn’t believe it and this time I hit purchase before it would disappear! Now it was time to find the perfect rug, throw pillows, couch throw, coffee table etc.. The only issue I had was with delivery, it came faster than I thought, they changed the delivery date and time without notifying me because it came earlier than was told and that I picked. So I made a call to Amazon, rescheduled the delivery date and time and before you know it, it was at my door. It was all in one box, no tools needed for assembly, directions were clear and I put together myself fairly easily, I would say in an hour or so but I took my time and only needed help once from someone to hold one end while I connected the opposite end and that was it! It was beautiful, it was comfortable, it was sturdy, soft, it was the perfect color, the perfect size for my living room and was a great price, less than $600 dollars, it was meant to be! And as you can see I found the perfect rug and pillows, I’m in love!! So if you are looking for a Blue velvet couch with a chaise lounge, this the couch for you!!

First couch in our new apt. It’s worth it for a starter couch and to gage where you want to go from here in terms of style, size and comfort. Not the most comfortable for long term sitting or sleeping. Easy to assemble. I put it up by myself but I did need help to lock in the back of the couch. Not really sturdy. After months of having it we moved it, 2 feet or so, to change up the look and I could hear something inside the one of the arms crack. This didn’t change the seating nor comfort. But I could feel the hole under the fabric.

Update since I purchased this on March 2021(New photo uploaded w/ the throw pillows):I still truly enjoy this sectional. Some of the fabric is sticking out now because my dog’s nails scratch it from jumping on and off everyday. Overall the back cushions are still good and can be fluffed but I definitely wish that it had more stuffing. The seat cushions are still firm!—Initial review:I’m really impressed with how nice this couch is. I’m so happy with how easy it was to assemble. It’s also really nice because you can move the sectional’s position the way your room is set up or you can detach the end and turn it into an ottoman simply by switching the cushions on the couch.It feels like a long lasting couch because of the great cushion quality unlike those other springy couches.The color and the fabric are great too!So far I have no complaints about this couch. It’s amazing, clean to look at, sturdy, worth the money and very easy to rearrange in our room.

Love the color & size. I live in a small place & this fits perfectly into my space with seating for 3 adults. The color is beautiful in real life. It look dull in pics. It was easy to put together by myself. It is soft, firm & has just enough bounce to it to make it very comfortable. I've had it for a couple months now & it is still in perfect condition. It is worth the price.

I've had this couch for about 3 weeks and wanted to leave a review for anyone on the fence about buying this couch.The Good:Assembly: Holy crap is this thing easy to assemble. It took me literally 5 minutes. What's really nice is if you're moving, you can easily disassemble it and move it in an average-sized car if you needed to.Sturdiness: For a self-assembled couch, it's really sturdy. The cushions even have velcro strips on them to keep them from slipping.Appearance: The color is really nice. Overall, it's not a bad couch to look at.Orientation: You can move the stand for the long cushion to either side, so it works in any living room.Delivery: If you need a couch quickly like I did, the delivery for this couch was really fast. I think I got mine in about a week.The bad:Size: It's really small for a sectional. I'm 6'2" and sitting straight up my feet hang just over the end of the long cushion so I can't really lounge in it. I think it would sit two people comfortably. Three people would be a little cramped.Comfort: The cushions are really firm. This could be good in the long run, after I've broken them in for months, but it just isn't really comfortable as of now. I think I'll have to repack the cushions with better foam at some point in the next year or so. The long cushion also came with uneven packing, so it sags inward on one side of it. The fabric isn't very comfortable on the skin.Vacuum Seal Packing: The cushions come in vacuum-sealed bags and are extremely wrinkled, even several days outside of packing. You need a blow dryer to get all the wrinkles out of the cushions.Overall, it's not a terrible couch, but I don't see myself having this couch for more than 2-3 years before I upgrade to something bigger and more comfortable.

Easily assembled it solo, it looks just as pictured, and it’s reasonably comfy. You really can’t beat it for the price.
