Look at the protein sources that include corn gluten, which is rocket fuel, as well as some fish meal for the animal protein that chickens need. Lysine and methionine are two crucial amino acids for poultry and they are very high in Super Spur compared with other supplements. Vitamin levels are also very high. It is expensive. I don't have enough fowl yet to justify adding it to the daily mix. But I use it strategically for breeders in their mix to give 18% protein and all nutrients covered.
