There is a lot to do in this game. It is a world of islands, ships, puzzles, pirates and plunder. New content is added all the time, keeping it vibrant. You play as a pirate (usually first person view) and get your own boat. You have to sail around and can choose whether to dig up treasure (the best!), fight ghost ships and skeletons, or deliver cargo. The dangers on your way include giant sharks, skeleton crewed ships, phantoms, weird sea creatures and the worst - other pirates stealing your loot! There are also story based quests to follow, World events and more. You could also choose to spend time peacefully fishing, watch out for storms and other hazards. You can play solo, in a 2 man boat, 3 man boat or 4 man boat. You can play in the High Seas with up to 5 other ships or enjoy your own private server (1 boat for you and up to 3 friends) in safer seas. I like the safer seas, there is still plenty of peril but less hassle. Note that you get less money in safer seas, the reputation you can earn is capped and some player related features are not available. However, you are free to choose which mode you play in and can switch back and forth. Note that safer seas means you can play in single player mode without requiring game pass, which is a nice bonus. (Just skip past the pop ups. You do still need an Internet connection. ) The game saves your level and cosmetic choices and purchases, however the items in your pockets and quests on the table are usually lost. This makes it hard to take a break without losing your hard won stuff and progress. (Tall tales do save milestones). I'd like to see a way to take a short break without having to run back. For younger players and families, stick to safer seas, in the high seas chat can be shared across ships so be careful of your settings as you may not want to talk to everyone. This is a great game to play solo or in a group of up to 4, I'd like to be able to play with even more friends in future. Recommended for all suitable ages!

Bel gioco finalmente con un'ambientazione diverso dai classici giochi per console. L'ho regalato a mio marito e si diverte molto, si è fatto anche una piccola compagnia virtuale di amici grazie a questo gioco. La dicitura "versione uk" non comporta nulla, il gioco funziona benissimo.

Un impact très visible sur la face avant de la boite qui était pourtant encore sous blister. Ce n'est pas la fin du monde mais comme j'aime prendre soin de mes jeux et tout particulièrement de ce jeu que j'affectionne, j'ai été un peu surpris. Cela dit, le CD est neuf et fonctionne parfaitement
