Less than 1.5 watts per advertised specs which would be about 0.1 A (100 ma).

Q: Can this be used with AC power at inverter output? I am thinking of wiring this into a small extension cord to have a "protected" circuit.

Yes..BUT.. you need a 12 volt DPDT relay between your inverter and the load . Your DC 12 volts going into the inverter will also go into this Voltage Protector and the output from this Voltage Protector will power your DC 12 relay. When the 12 volts DC voltage going into the inverter drops to the set low voltage it will disable the relay which in turns cuts off the ac power between your inverter and your load.

Q: With this work with dewalt 20v batteries?

For posterity and because this question is popular: program at 15 Volts 5-cells * 3 Volts = 15 Volts At the absolute lowest, down to 2.5V per cell. But I don't recommend that for safety or longevity. I don't see anything in the description advising against Li-Ion batteries. Nor can I think of any reason this would not work for Li-Ion batteries, provided you program the shutoff correctly.
