The built in Velcro strap is nice for storage and the ratchet mechanism worked great. I just bought these for a friend. I destroyed one of his by misusing it for extracting a mower from a ditch (do not try this at home) but otherwise seems fine.

I have owned these for almost a year now, and Ii have to say, these the best 1" strap I have ever used. After the year of use, they are still good as new. I mainly use them to tie down dirt bikes, but they have been used to secure some heavy loads when helping some people move. The ratchet is much more heavy duty than most 1" ratchets. These straps are a lot thicker than most too. The rubber coated S hooks are a nice touch as well.The only thing I have noticed is that the ratchets can seize when trying to get them to come undone, and it's not under load. But that is OK with me. I would prefer to have a little stiffer, rather than have the opposite problem of coming undone too easy.I also took the time to read some of the other reviews. I think a lot of the poor reviews about the straps breaking are due to people not knowing how to use ratchet straps. Any ratchet strap is easy to break if you using it incorrectly. Make sure to always take the time to know how to use your equipment first. Like I said, these are the best 1"straps I've ever used, hands down.

I use these straps on my landscape trailer and boat trailer. One thing I didn’t appreciate, although others might, was the storage case which was a little too fussy for my taste. I hated ditching it because it has a significant amount of plastic, but it was laborious to use in its intended use (in my opinion), and I already had other straps and a way to quickly manage and store those, so the case wasn’t needed. Taking a star off for the excess of that feature even though others might like it.

Very well made, especially for the price. The storage container unlike most, actually works well. I would definitely buy again.

I have an affinity towards collecting ratchet straps. I own several sets ranging from medium duty (this set) to 5,000 to 10,000 working load for homeowner grade machinery hauling. I know to stay away from cheap, crappy ratchet straps and try to find quality ratcheting mechanisms with strapping that won't break apart upon its first use.For my latest purchase, I was trying to be extra diligent in finding a set to tie my airplanes down when they're parked outside. I didn't want a monster set due to the extra weight in the plane coupled with the hooks being too large for the plane's tiedown eye bolts, but at the same time wanted something strong enough to hold the plane during wind gusts.These fit the bill nicely. Perfect hook size, perfect strap length. The blaze orange is an added plus in keeping people from walking into the straps. Ratchets work nice and smooth. Webbing seems plenty strong. No gimmicks. Very pleased.

Worked well to strap down my 500lb cruiser into my truck. Loved the velcro strap that was built in to secure the loose strap and also great for storage. 5 stars!

my husband like them were a little hard to use but not bad he gave it a 4 for easy to use but was very happy with the product

Good price and straps seem to be good quality. I have used these for the past few months moving my motorcycle and furniture from Montana to Wyoming. They have been exposed to all types of weather conditions, for long periods of time, and have held up well.My only gripe is, right off the bat, a few of the ratchets would stick when using the release. Not a huge issue but can be annoying.
