I can't really give it 5 stars or 1 so I gave in between I have a kamado joe big joe so the grate is pretty big this is more of a spot light so if I place it facing the center of the grill that's the only place it lights up towards the edge is very dark. For the price it isn't bad but I will be looking to purchuse a light that has more of a broader span

It is OK somewhat. To pull silicone cover to place/replace batteries is easy. Silicone cover is to protect light from the heat of the grill. Switch is OK. But plastic housing and LEDs are not protected from the heat at all and, probably, will start melting very soon if grill is open even for short time, because it is hanging just above the coals. Design deficiency.

The light is bright and is exactly what was needed for grilling at night on our porch. However, the switch is a little faulty and it doesn't always turn off when you push the button. After multiple attempts it finally did, but the problem persists whenever we use it.

It's nice and bright, and easy to install and use. My only complaint is that it's more a spotlight, instead of a flood light. So it spots one particular area of the grill, instead of lighting up the whole thing.

So this thing was awesome.. Until I left the lid open and it melted and all the was left was the batteries.... Kinda sad about it....

Great idea but terribly executed product. It does not keep out moisture, even when the grill is covered with a waterproof cover.I got this product as a christmas gift and was very excited to add to my Egg. It worked well initially, and with the solid rubber cover, seemed entirely water resistant. To increase the odds, I always kept it covered. About two weeks ago the light started turning on / off intermittently and then just stopped. I opened it up to find water inside it and full of rust staining.Ruined.Hope I can get a refund for this, though Amazon's window is closed.

I’m extremely happy with this product, and the owner company providing these. The first one I received stopped working the same day, and the awesome guys who sell these sent me a new one with no questions asked and it works great, thanks guys!

This was purchased as a gift, so I can't really rate it. It appeared to be as stated on Amazon.
