Maytex Reeves Stretch 1 Piece Sofa Furniture Cover Slipcover, Natural White

Bought these in 2017, writing the review in 2022. Can't believe I didn't write a review for these yet. Bought a house, had two armchairs that didn't match. Was looking for a cheap way to level up without buying all new furniture. Long story short ended up with a couple of surprise house guests who were REALLY rough on my furniture. Kids, an elderly dog, and a crotchety old cat. They still look great after all these years and god knows a ton of mileage.

I have a very wide overstuffed chair -- almost a chair and a half. But not really near the size of a loveseat. Sort of a Goldilocks chair that didn't really fit anybody.All "chair" slipcovers I had seen were much too small to cover my chair. From the product description of this loveseat slipcover, I thought it just might work because: 1) The measurements seemed a bit smaller than those of some other loveseat slipcovers I had looked at; 2) it was described as stretchy. So I thought, why not give it a chance? Amazon is great to work with on returns if it just won't do.I admit that this slipcover doesn't exactly fit my chair.There most assuredly IS extra fabric. But it is such soft fabric, and has so much "give," and is so "tuckable," that I was able to maneuver it onto my chair without help. The sewn-in labels telling me what should go where were very helpful. After I got it in place, I cut them off, because I knew that after washing I would be able to get it back on the right way. Examples of label: "Tuck fabric behind cushion." and "Right front arm."I absolutely love the feel of the fabric. I am always warmer than anyone else in the room, and soft fabrics sometimes have enough nap that they make me even hotter. Not this though. I am extremely comfortable sitting and lying in "my" chair. I also love the soft sage green that I chose. It fits into my living room perfectly.I would purchase a Maytex product again in a heartbeat. I'm so happy with my slipcover.I haven't needed to launder it yet, but if it doesn't hold up, or if it looks brand new afterward, I'll try to remember to come back here and post an update. I tried several slipcovers before finding these and they are by far the best. I paid twice as much for the others but because they fitted so poorly I had to return then. The material of these are thick enough to cover chair w/o being see through and it is soft. It is stretchy which makes it snug fitting with some tucking. They don't look like a giant sheet or drape that you tried to cover your chair with like some of the others I tried. They are well worth the money if you are in need of a slipcover and the colors are true to what you see on the screen. I'd only buy this brand again.

Does not fit an Ikea love seat size couch although my love seat is within the size this slipcover specifies. Was hoping it would but the cover was too big and I could not get it to look tidy. The over all quality was ok but not great. I have a stretch slipcover for a different couch that I got from Target that is much higher quality.

*UPDATE* after using this for a couple of months on our playroom couch, I now give it three stars. Taking the time to tuck it in is pointless if you plan on having people do anything other than gently sit on the couch. Although it stretches nicely and tucks easily and looks lovely when it's all fitted, none of it matters once people start plopping down on it, lounging on it, or especially jumping on it. I knew there was going to be some adjusting since it's a playroom couch but the design of this is not much better than a sheet. In addition, there was a tiny hole at the seam that has now become noticeable and needs to be sewn. The color, which I originally liked, seems to have some pink undertones that can really be seen in the natural light. I'm not sure if I am just now noticing or if it's from washing. On that note it does wash up beautifully and stains come out easily. I would not have purchased this if I knew all this before.I wish I had purchased this a long time ago! I tried it on my couch as soon as it arrived. It was very simple to put on and it just takes some patience going side to side, front to back, tugging and smoothing. Once I got it, it looked fantastic! It's snug all around except at the bottom where it drapes like a Pottery Barn cover. There is one wide piece of elastic at the front and back of each arm which helps with shaping. The material is very soft and stretchy. It's not thick but not too thin; I would say about equivalent to warm weather polypros (if you know Army gear). I ordered the natural color and it's a beautiful cream, not too white but not yellow at all. I gave it only four stars because there is a faint stain on it that looks like dirt so I'm hoping it'll just wash out. This will be used in the playroom so its durability remains to be seen. I hope to update this review with positives in that area. For now, I highly recommend!

I purchased this for my dad's old 60's upholstered wing chair. He says it's fine for his needs but when I saw it it - it reminded me of someone who has lost a lot of weight and has lots of sagging skin. Measure your chair very carefully!!! This is much too big but he just tucks it in as needed. It is softer than the original chair surface so that is a plus. Unless you have an overstuffed chair I can't see this being a good fit

We have a large leather couch and have had a very hard time finding a couch cover that fits. This couch cover is perfect! It fits our couch great and is very soft! As many other buyers have noted, it is not as dark as the picture advertised, but that is why we bought it. The only thing I could think that would make it better would be elastic around the entire bottom of the cover or at least the corners. I just tucked the corners under the legs of our couch, though, and that works fine. Great find and great price!

We had 2 different couches in our living room and they were both ugly as they were inherited. I ordered 2 of these and now both couches match and look way way better, plus they are really soft and comfortable to be on, sitting or laying. Another thing to mention is that these shape to couches really well. Both couches I have are different styles and shapes but these fit both great! Highly recommended

I have an old wing back recliner whose material was looking dingy, drab and worn and I wanted to bring a little life back into it. Much to my dismay, many covers seem to cost almost as much as a new chair or a professional reupholtering would. I chose this cover because I liked the colour and it seemed like it might fit.The cover arrived quickly. The material is very soft and has a waffle type pattern. It is also nice and stretchy, so you can yank it into place quite easily.Admittedly, the cover didn't fit my chair exactly, but I was prepared for that, as my chair is old and has unusual dimensions. Despite its inexact fit, it does cover all of the upper part of the chair, only leaving the legs exposed, which is just what I wanted. With some pulling and tucking, it does a repectable job of giving the old chair a new look. It's a bit small for the chair I have, so it lacks a bit of the custom fit look, but for my needs that's just fine. I have received many compliments on the appearance and softness and everyone who has seen it has thought that it was a new chair.

It fits my chair pretty good, I have to make adjustments after the chair is used but that is easy to do, it make quite a difference to the decor in my living room.
