I tried programming an esp8266 for hours one day using an Arduino and had nothing but problems.This Dev board fixed all my problems, it made programming a piece of cake and prototyping simple with the numerous connectors to plug into.Also you don't need any additional electronics to step down the 5v vin as this has it all built in.Very happy and a very good price

This is ideal for an IOT device. It is compact meaning it will fit on a standard single breadboard with a single row each side (not like the ESP32's I have which are 1 pin wider and some LoLin 8266's which are 2 pins wider). It is also efficient and doesn't have a power LED so is suitable for battery based applications. Consumes around 1.2mA in deep sleep mode when plugged in via in the on-board regulator.

I purchased these Wi-Fi modules as I saw a YouTuber using those modules to run Christmas lights around the house,The YouTuber never mention he had problems with its Wi-Fi range but that was in an American house, I struggled to communicate with them unless I was approximately 2 feet away but after I solder an extra bit of wire to the antenna just to see if it improves things but only by a bit.I'm still happy with these modules I'm hoping there may be an improved model out there but I haven't looked yet.

When i purchased this item, i assumed it would have some instructions, No, it didnt, alledgedly you can download from the manufacturers website ,pdf instructions, well thats maybe but the only info i could find was for an earlier model, not the one i purchased, there are so many variants of this board, i had to spend several hours searching online for instructions . and even then i doesnt work, i have no way of checking that the firmware is uploaded correctly or working, not what i expected or desired. I wont buy again or recommend to anyone.

Great little module, can be used for SOOOO many things! I'm currently using it with a display module to create a YouTube Subscriber counter for the background of my youtube channel

Works perfectly. Build quality is good, as with all AZ Delivery products I bought. This is German Amica board, fully endorsed by NodeMCU, breadboard friendly, unlike some offshoots.

I had a terrible experience with this board. After flashing software onto my board, some functions worked but others didn’t. I may have gotten a bad or outdated board because after purchasing another package of three boards from the same manufacturer, I received slightly bigger boards that work perfectly! I am considering returning the first board that I bought.

It does the job, couldn't see any flaw.
