Pair of 4 x 6 Inches Car Speaker Grills

I bought some Infinity 4x6 speakers that did not come with their own grills for my 1987 Porsche 911. The original equipment grills were cracked and falling apart. These fit perfectly, both aesthetically and physically. They nearly matched the look of the originals.

The look and feel is good, I wish thre was no logo on it though.These covers provide a little more room for cones than my stock, flat covers. However the mounts for these were significantly 'thicker than my stock covers, so I needed longer mounting screws (about 5/16 longer).I wish the seller would publish the important mounting dimensions, like mount thickness and grill depther from mounting plane. I didn't know if these were gong to be deep enough for my new speakers, turned out they were but I was taking a little gamble because the product description provided very little info.

4X6 grills are hard to find and these worked great. As others have stated the grills are loose fitting but just a very small drop of hot glue solves this issue ....and when I say small I mean small drop....sight unseen. TIP...do not over tighten the speakers or the base will slightly warp preventing the grill to go on. ....The grill sits out high enough to clear the cone/tweeter....overall very pleased, and fast shipping.PS mine were used in the front door panels

One of the two grills was very difficult to insert into the plastic base, and the other kept falling out which required me to drill a small hole and insert a screw to keep it in place

Thought I previously reviewed this, but I guess it didn't post. I have a '87 Targa and the orginal speakers had to be replaced. In today's world, when you buy speakers, the speaker grills don't come with them. I bought new speakers and the installer tried to use the original speaker grills but they were cracked and brittle, and didn't look good. I tried to find some original speaker grills but could not. I found these and purchased them. They arrived in just a couple of days after I made the online purchase. They look good. I initially had a problem with just removing the old and replacing with the new but I contacted WoofersEtc and via email Joshua Foley worked me through getting them on the vehicle without too much more effort. These speaker grills look good and definitely replace the original factory speaker grills you can no longer find. For less than $22 (with tax), this was a great investment for my car.

Fit the front 4x6 speaker holes in my 1983 Porsche 944 wonderfully.So far, the mesh screens are popping out of the bracket here and there.The fit of the mesh is very tight into the brackets.I think the bracket and mesh are still settling and the popping out will stop after a while.I may try a tiny spot or two of Gorilla glue :-)
