Great Mini Keyboard
This is a great mini keyboard. I was originally looking for a keyboard without the number pad. Normal size, just without the number pad. I had actually used another vendor's mini keyboard and it was a pain because I had to use goofy key combinations to do backspace and other normal functions making the other product awkward to use. I reluctantly decided to try this mini keyboard. Low and behold, it is a fairly normal keyboard setup. The backspace is where it should be IMHO. It types nice and doesn't click needlessly loud. This thing is also fairly thing. You could easily stick this in a suitcase, carry-on, or briefcase without taking up too much space. The only way it could be better is if it had backlit keys...

it's wonderful!
I can only type with one hand (the other is partially paralyzed) so this small keyboard is perfect for me, it's much faster and easier for me to use. The only problem I have with it is the control key which is very small. I've never understood why regular keyboards come with the numeric pad to the right, why is that the default, how many people actually use those keys? In case you do use them, however, the Adesso does provide a scheme for accessing them that involves pressing the "Fn" key first. The numerals are spaced at an angle -- they "cascade" from 7-8-9 to U-I-O to J-K-L (with additional keys for *, -, +, . and /) which may not be easy to use if you are accustomed to the square format.

Get a better keyboard
I purchased this keyboard as I could find no others. I wished I had continued to search. Whoever designed this keyboard clearly never uses it or even has fingers for that matter I have never had a keyboard where in a single stroke I can highlight and delete several lines of text, because the arrow keys, shift key and delete key are all in 1/8 of an inch from one another, thus every time I need to hit shift or up arrow, I run the risk of accidentally highlighting and deleting text. The shift key, arrow key, and delete key can all be hit at the same time Complete JUNK! I wish product manufacturers would actually use their products instead of telling me I am using them wrong I should never accidentally be able to hit a delete key when I am reaching for a shift key! Seriously poor design. Seriously poor design. It is like toilet paper that also slashes your Ainoos open, yeah you wiped, but now you have to patch up. Every time i write, i have to slow down and make sure i do not accidentally delete everything I just types. Backspace is too small, and right next to PAGE UP, HOME keys, so sometimes, I randomly jump up or to the top of page, having to then carefully find my way back to what and where I typed It is obnoxious and has created new problems that could be solved by not having this keyboard If you want a keyboard that will infuriate a person, then this is the right product for you This keyboard reeks of corporate bosses putting a gun to the head of ergonomic designers who objected to tiny keys next other tiny keys. In my opinion, you should never put three buttons right where they can all be accidentaly struck at he same time and when you do, you instantly highlight and delete numerous lines of text. How does that happen!!!??????? WHen I use my TV remote and push Volume UP, I should be able to reasonably assume that I will not also always accidentally hit a button on the remote that will disrupt my viewing experience every time. EVERY TIME EVERY TIME When i want to CAPITALIZE a letter, I have to hit CAPS LOCK on, then off, every time EVERY TIME EVERY TIME EVERY TIME EVERY TIME EVERY TIME EVERY TIME EVERY TIME EVERY TIME

Helpful For Shoulder Pain
This arrived quickly and was easy to set up. Just plug it in and your computer will work it out. After a couple of weeks, I've gotten used to having some of the keys in different places (like the Delete key) and the small keyboard is allowing me to keep my mouse closer and giving my shoulder a rest. It does make a bit more noise than my previous keyboard, but being able to mouse all day without so much pain is a wonder! I can highly recommend getting a smaller keyboard like this one if you have shoulder pain from mousing...and I don't miss the longer keyboard or the number pad at all. It also allows me more room on my desk. UPDATE: Some of the letting has gone from a few keys, but I don't type by looking at the keyboard anyway and I know I can get stickers to replace them. Other than that, its seriously helped alleviate my shoulder pain and I can highly recommend it for that alone. I wish I had bought one of these ages ago! So far, its working fine and I haven't noticed any transposed letters like some people commented on. I wish I had bought a smaller keyboard like this years ago!

Good size and key arrangement, but some flaws
I ordered this keyboard so I could bring my mouse closer to the front of my body. Pros: - it has good crisp key feedback, and medium-length keystroke. Feels like a cross between a laptop and standard keyboard. - despite its tiny size it has a key arrangement that is fairly similar to standard. In particular, the control key is where it should be at bottom left. Cons: - most glaringly, it without a doubt misses keys (and I don't type lightly) - it also reverses keys when I type too fast. I have confirmed this repeatedly by typing two letters in sequence quickly; my typing "accuracy" due to this has dropped substantially. When I type more slowly it's OK. - some of the keys are beyond tiny; perhaps some could be omitted instead. I mean, who needs two Windows keys? And does anyone actually use the menu key? I may return this keyboard. Alone while typing this review, I have had to backspace and fix transposed characters repeatedly. I never had this problem with any previous keyboards. Edit: it did not get better, so I am returning it. Too bad; I liked the form factor. FYI it is made in China, but the box was marked "RoHS" (Not "RoHS-Compliant...")

Easy installation and a great working mini keyboard. Exactly what I was looking for.

Don't love it... ended up getting something else. I find this keyboard extremely noisy to use. I ended up finding a more "low profile" model instead. This one is ok but being so "compact" it is missing keys in standard places (like delete) which is difficult to get used to. May be good for lighter use but not everyday use.
