Fantastic, if somewhat expensive piece of kit.
This had been working brilliantly with my Sony A7iv for a month of intensive use. Indeed, after the hard use its been put through on a 1 month voyage around the southwestern USA, much of it on foot, I can safely declare that this is one of the best camera accessories I’ve purchased in my near 50 years of photography. Back in the old days, when my shoulders worked, such an item would have been a luxury due to its price. Today, what with age and several injuries, it is essential. In fact I will be buying the larger sized plate that i hope will distribute the weight more broadly and will use this one on my backpack. At over $50 its very expensive for what it is, but still, solid, secure and for me, worth the cost. Try it and you will never use a shoulder strap again. By the way, I still attach my short shoulder strap to a carabiner and attach the carabiner to my light weight over the shoulder bag as extra security, that way in the unlikely event of my dropping the camera it is still tethered to me. But, except when hiking or other vigorous activity, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this without the added security. The attachment is very secure. Use a stout belt. Mine is a nylon web tactical belt about 5cm wide and it works superbly as a combo. Please note, you can set this device so it is in quick release mode or locked. In quick release it is, in fact, quick. You can get the camera to your eye as quickly as with a neck strap or one of those fancy over the shoulder straps (I have both) without the camera and lens causing neck pain. In locked mode, you need to push a lever to unlock, and I haven’t been able to figure out how to do this quickly with one hand, hence my use of strap and carabiner for extra security. Finally, just so you know, I use my camera with the Tamron 28-200 almost all the time (great lens) and despite its size I have had no real problems although this set up does seem to cause the focus ring to turn as it rubs against my pants as I walk. I don’t think, and sure hope, this won’t cause lens problems in the future, but so far, so good. If anything changes I will let you know.

Easy to use
Very easy to use and like how easy it attachs to the your belt. I use it all day and works great.

Tried the peak v3 and this. The spider system is more my speed
Only a couple belt mounted quick connectors to choose from on Amazon. I like this unit a lot because the clip doesn’t dig into your waist, and the ball style clip allows some wiggle room when you move. Camera 2 will clip on this while my main photo cam stays in my shoulder rig. Nice design for quickly stowing your camera for hands free movement.

Best system I have found for toting a small-to-midsize camera on the go!
Notes:- I have successfully paired this with an Arca-Swiss compatible tilt-head from Kiwifotos (4332017151) on a monopod to get sharper pictures on nature walks. The Spider's mounting plate slides right into the head, so you don't need extra junk to mess with.- The holster uses a clip that slides over a belt - you're best off pairing it with a pretty beefy belt. I am using it with a bison-leather belt from LL Bean, works greatGripes:- This is overpriced, as it's a fairly simple device - $65-$75 seems more reasonable- The plate attaching to the camera base tends to loosen on its own unless you really torque hard on the little D-ring for the screw, which isn't easy to do - something giving better leverage for tightening or a screw that holds better would be a useful improvementKudos- Sleek, comfortable way to carry a small-midsize camera, hands-free; and you can holster/un-holster it one-handed when you get used to it - I don't know of a better system- Excepting the mounting screw issue noted above, it's a well designed, high quality piece of kit

Great Tool for the Photographer or Videographers
I find this immensely more convenient and comfortable than trying to log a camera and lens around using a neck strap. It is really easy to use and very well made. I looked at a couple of other products like this but they had seemed to have flaws like thumbscrews that would not stay tightened. This clips over your belt, so as long your belt is securely buckled, I think there's very little chance of this coming off.It is very well made and there is a funnel-like system that guides your camera into the locking mechanism. Once there you can hear it securely lock into place.I saw some reviewers complained about the price, but for the comfort, convenience and quality of craftsmanship I think it's a very fair deal. Definitely recommend this for anyone who does not want to log camera around on their neck.

Very Solid
It’s expensive but you have confidence when wearing it that your camera is secure. Should last forever it would seem. Excellent build. I bought two of them for my two cameras. One on each side and it worked perfect. I like that nothing is hanging around my neck.

secure & great holster for all cameras with little locking mechanism issue
bought this for my Nikon Z7ii and it fits like a glove to the camera. The lock is great and doesn't allow the camera to slide off once its locked in the holster. The only drawback is the lock can be kept in unlocked position sometimes when we take the camera out of holster and we can slide it easily in and the lock is still unlocked.I might have got a bad one.
