The connectors seem really well made and are larger than what you find on a lot of battery chargers which make fitting on the battery terminal much easier. The device powers on quickly and was very simple to use. I didn't even read the directions the first time I used it. Very easy to get the information you need on batteries state of charge and perform a cranking amp test. I think I'm going to use this on all my batteries before winter every year and hopefully save myself the hassle of getting stranded which the first cold snap that finishes off an already weakened battery.

This is a very handy tester that works well and is very easy to use. Yes, they will do the same sort of test at AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto but it is still handy to have in your toolbox. Only negative to it I found is that while it does give a test result for internal resistance denoted as "RES." on the screen, the manual doesn't give any information about what that is or what good, average or bad reading would be.

I was skeptical about the overall general use of this device. But, for the price I thought I would give it a go. Right out of the box this little guy told me exactly what I wanted to know. It saved me the hassle of removing the battery or driving the vehicle to an autoparts store for them to tell me what this told me in a few minutes. I was able to walk into the parts store, drop off the old battery, and buy a new one. The salesman was surprised when he was about the put his tester on the battery and I told him it is already bad. This will save you time and it is quite convenient!

Great little tester, shows the internal resistance, state of charge and whatnot... Great tool to point out the how awful the modern computer controlled chargers are. Old buzz box timer types are 10x better - measured with this thing - and the "battery restore" function is provably worthless - again, measured with this thing.

I’ve load tested a dozen batteries before and after recharging, tester works great I was using a Solar load tester for over 15 years, but it finally died. Hope this Foxwell lasts that long

Very good, simple battery tester. This unit is temperature compensated and has separate testing capabilities to test a battery whether it is installed in the vehicle or disconnected. Tests separately for cranking amps and cold cranking amps. Provides state of charge status and charging recommendations. Provides state of health as well as replacement recommendation. As good or better than most commercial testers.

I'm very pleased with this FOXWELL BT100 Battery Analyzer so far. First it is smaller than the ones I use for work which is a plus to me as the smaller size makes it easier to carry, use, and store. Operating the battery analyzer is simple. The analyzer is powered by the battery you are checking, just connect the leads to a 12-volt battery and the LED backlit screen will light up showing the current voltage of the battery. To test the battery: *Press the "Enter" button and then use the arrow buttons to choose if the battery is "Out Of Vehicle" or "In Vehicle". *The select which type of battery it is "Regular Flooded", "AGM", or "Gel". *Select which battery standard to use. There are 8 choices, but "CA" (Cranking Amps) or CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) are two of the most common and usually shown on top of the battery. Now select the "Test" option. Once the test is complete you will get two screens of results. (see pics of screen shots) *Battery: Good Battery *Volts: 12.67 v *Measured: 802 MCA *Rated: 700 MCA *SOH: 96 % *SOC: 100 % *RES: 4.91 MR (Resistance - Measure Resistance) I've compared the results with a couple other battery testers and the results were very similar so it seems accurate. The only slight negative is I wish it came with a case, but for the price I paid I can provide my own. I hope this information helps. If something changes I will update this review.

I actually use this thing alot. Tells you all about your battery and works good. Easy to use. Wish I had bought one years ago.

This tester is so easy to use. It's as easy as plug and play. I checked various batteries on the cars and off the car. All diagnosis was as I expected but confirmation was good as I didn't have to go to a garage or elsewhere which always saves you money. It is so easy to use, step by step on screen, I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.

Perfect tool for quick battery checks. After a quick data entry only takes 5 seconds have the results. The accuracy is good. Since it is still new I can't speak anything about its durability.
