Easy installation, two switch capable, whisper quietPackaging could have been better, when first opened the styrofoam had broken around globe but globe was o.k.; complaints from others had found this to be a problem, I guess I lucked out.

This top of the line Hunter ceiling fan is super quiet and moves a lot of air. The light kit includes a stylish globe and requires (2) bulbs.

Looks great, very easy to install - what more can you ask? The finish is fantastic and unlike most blades, both sides are very attractive. One side seemed to have a touch of gray in it, which works great with our furniture. The end result was a very sleek look with a tight flush mount. (I did not use the included light kit.) Fan speed seems to be a little slower than older fans, with the high speed on this fan virtually the same as medium on the older fans, but not an issue for us since high speed on the older fans was way too fast (and noisy).I installed 2 of these and have ordered 2 more. Since I install them myself, I pay particular attention to ease of installation. Instructions are clear and the motor used is much lighter than older fans that I've installed. I also like that the motor housing is separated from the motor itself, making it much less clumsy to handle. Plus, the bracket design makes hanging the motor for wiring very easy. These are important factors when up on a step ladder. A couple of tips: your wiring housing must be level, assuming you are mounting the bracket to the housing. My first installation was to a housing that wasn't perfectly level and had to uninstall the fan and use the included wood screws to mount to the stud. The fan mount is square and flat vs. the traditional round ball. Also, make sure you push the wires well up into the bracket area. Another disassembly was required due to the spinning motor rubbing against a wire causing a slight noise.

This fan is great, but there were a couple of complications in the install I wanted to make sure people were aware of.1. This fan WILL NOT MOUNT on anything but a 4-inch box. If you're not sure that you can replace from a smaller box, please don't bother. Luckily I was able to replace the boxes after a Home Depot trip and some serious adjustments.2. This fan does NOT self-level or self-center. You will need to install DEAD-LEVEL. Also despite my efforts the fan was naturally unbalanced, so I had to use the included kit to adjust.Working solo, the boxes took about 2 1/2 hours to mount, the fans about 1 hour to mount (had to do one 3 times, the other twice to fix leveling issues), and about 45 minutes each to balance. Despite being pretty handy, these were a pain in the ***. Total time I spent was 9 hours to install.That being said, the build quality is absolutely superb. Everything is well-machined and built. Nothing is flimsy, including the pull-ties, the bowl, the blades, and the mounting hardware. Can't recommend it enough, but especially in an older house, be aware of the long install time.

Love this fan, great value and the company shipping it stands behind their product. Only thing is the glass shade was broken on two separate orders and I'm not sure if much can be done to solve that the way boxes are tossed around in transit. I don't blame the seller on this issue and they happily took back the first shipment. The room I placed the fan in didn't need the light and after two unsuccessful shipments trying to get an intact glass shade I deleted the light portion and kept the second fan. Fan functions perfectly for my needs and is supper quiet.

This is a great fan and very attractive too. Fan is quiet and effective. Light fixture is good. My husband installed and didn't seem to have any trouble.

Other than my old house wiring the Fan was pretty easy to install and came with all necessary parts. It might be larger than I need but I kinda like that and its doing exactly what I wanted which is pushing the warm air from the wood stove into the rest of the house, It is very quiet. I love the style and the LED lights and Amber globe provide perfect lighting for the room not to bright or shining in your face like the candelabra types.I accidentally ordered 2 of these, 1 on Amazon and the other directly from Hunter, I got the 1 from Hunter after I already installed the other. I contacted Hunter and they graciously let me return it for a full refund minus shipping cost, but they provided me with prepaid shipping label to return it. Excellent Customer service. I can see why they are the top rated fans on the market.

I love hunter fans. This is my fourth one to buy to install in my new home and will add two more as I continue finishing my basement. Very easy to install and looks fantastic. Super quiet as well.
