Borrowed one of my buddies one of these while we were Sika hunting and immediately bought one the day I got home. I'd never used a call before and found this fairly easy to use. By the end of our trip, I had called in a monster Sika Stag with this call. Can't wait to use again some more next season.

Awesome product at a reasonable price.

These calls work okay. A little too loud and obnoxious for close quarter Roosevelt Elk. Seem to stop working from four to five calls, takes two because they stop working and you have to dry them out often. Hassle.

First time elk hunter bought this and a bugle diaphragm. This is much easier to master. Buy one for hunting or just to annoy your children until they get out of bed on Saturday morning.

If I was a jerk, I would tell everyone that this call really sucks and doesn't work. That, however, wouldn't be the truth. I love this call and have called in too many elk to count with it. Works great for big bulls and cows. My best bull, which is now hanging on my wall thanks to this call is a 320 6x6. Not a monster for the record books, but a great bull none the less.

I can't use it do to the vibration of the reed but my partner can.

I put the larger call in an old Carlton grunt tube, it makes a good locator call or spike squealer and cow chirps too. The smaller call has the wider reed like the original fighting cow call, one of my favorites. Both at a good price, nothing beats a diaphragm, but these come close.

These little calls are hilarious, and surprisingly versatile. You can make a large range of elk calls with them by rolling up the rubber gasket that acts as a 'capo' for the call. It's all made of plastic, and the rubber gasket is not attached in any way, so it is very possible to lose it. The plastic is a basic quality, durable, but not made to withstand anything.I wasn't able to call in any elk with it, but it is a value-priced, surprisingly versatile little call that fits easily into your pocket. Perhaps I'll have a little better luck next year, but I would otherwise recommend it.

It works I come around the corner where a bush was blocking my view and I scared a cow off from 20 feet away from me and I stopped her at 175 feet away in her tracks with this call. I used the calf call 3 times to bring her in I got her 60 yards closer said my range finder but I think I may have used it too soon on the fourth call she scared off along with the other 8 and one bull I should have wait longer but at least I know for the next time.
