9" Length Premium Solid Aluminum Tent Stakes with Nylon Pouch, Pack of 6

I'm giving this 5 stars, but wish to point out a few things. First, I got rid of the flimsy cord that was attached to the hole on top, and opted for paracord, as it is more multi functional. Next, I advise the purchaser to file away the 'burrs' that are left from the drilling machine, when the holes were made, (I would suggest a chamfer bit.) They were obviously not buffed away, and will fray your cord under tension. Next, I guess that these head and body shaft are 'press-fitted', so if the head comes loose (it hasn't yet,) reset it with a strong bonding agent (I suggest taking along a small bottle of Gorilla Cement, NOT the Gorilla Glue.)I previously used the large 'nail' type pegs, with the plastic heads for tying to the tent, or tarp. The plastic breaks after a while, and they weigh much more than these. The older I get, I realize my physical limitations, and opt to be smarter! These perform as well, and lighten the load. I also don't need the clumsy rubber mallet anymore. I'm getting the Naturehike Camping / Outdoor hammer....after using one that a friend purchased, as I like the obvious versatility of it as well.I believe in a strong family, a strong bond of friends, and a strong Country. It is a responsibility to pass on the basic outdoor, and survival skills to our future generations. As promising new products come on the market, I enjoy putting them to the 'test'.

These things are horrible. I bought two packs and good thing I did. I bent the entire first package. I would not recommend these to anyone!

They mean NOT ultralight but lighter than a brick. Poor representation at best and do not fit in an ultralight category. They would be great for a large family tent (5 person plus) and that you were driving to your camp site but certainly not for backpacking.

No complaints. Needed something for my camping screenhouse. Tired of shattering the plastic stakes that came with it and didn't want the weight of a solid steel spike as I need 13 of them. Great price and well made.

Very sturdy, many uses to think of... I personally use them to pin down my tent to the ground.

Perfect tent stakes! I needed to get some new tent stakes that will keep my tent from flying away like it normally does when we camp at a campground that is beautifully set on top of a hill looking down on a lake. Although it is beautiful, our tent tends to want to wonder when up. I didn't want to run into that same problem this Memorial Day, so I found these longer nine inch length solid aluminum tent stakes! These are a very high quality and very durable set of solid aluminum tent stakes. There was no issue when pounding them into the ground of bending. They went into the ground with no issues at all. Each one of the tent stakes weigh 1.1 ounce but are truly heavy duty like listed in the description. I highly recommend this to others.
