You get what you pay for
Pricey but you get what you pay for. The chimney cap was sturdy, felt heavy and The 24 gauge galvanize definitely felt like it. The black powder coat looked really good. Considering the box arrived without any protection, No blemish, nicks, dents or scratches.It was very easy to install. The cap had a built in brace (see photo), you let it sit on top of your flue?!?, then you tighten the four screws that came with it.Very solid product. I would definitely recommend getting the exact size per your outside dimensions. I almost got cheap and bought one slightly larger from another seller. I’m glad I found this one.
