The good?* Strong, durable & heavy... about 1-1/2 lbs.* Useful rubber hand grip, 4" long, so your entire hand can fit on the grip.* Comes with a wristband to easily attach.* Adjusts from very wide, bright to very narrow, light stream, 2K lumens.* Waterproof.* Magnetic base. I like that I can stick it onto the top of my fridge & won't knock it over. I think it would also be useful in the car should you be in a dangerous position, like flat tire in the dark or rain... the strong light stuck to the car would be helpful to prevent you from getting hit. If these last long, I'll keep 2 in the car for that purpose... to place one on the front & back of the car so I'm seen.I mainly bought it for the rechargeable battery as it seems that whenever I'm in need of a flashlight, the batteries are dead or have leaked & ruined the flashlight or if I removed them to keep in a drawer, I'm stumbling around in the dark getting bumps & bruises trying to find & install them. I like a flashlight or 2 or 3 at the ready... 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the car & a third as backup under the bed in case I can't reach the other 2.The bad?* Nothing really. It is a bit pricey. I generally purchase flashlights 50% cheaper, but if this one lasts, then it's worth it & I'll buy more.Good to know?* Save the little instruction paper until you're used to the flashlight cuz it's got this cool feature. When in use, the button you push to turn off/on always stays lit. If it's orange, you have 25% power, green means it's more than 25%, flashing orange means it's lower than 25% & needs to be charged & flashing green means it's charging via USB (which you'd know as it will be plugged in).I'll update in 6-mos, which is generally the time every flashlight breaks or the batteries leak & ruin it.Right now, I like the design & heft & BIG BRIGHT light stream, so give it 5* out of 5.

The best flashlight I have ever owned! So easy to use, quick to charge, holds charge for months while not using. It is just simply always powered up and ready to go. Have purchased two and they have lasted. You will not regret this purchase.

I own a few of these. Magnetic base is great when you're on your own. Slide stays shut when you're not using it. Charges with the same plug as my phone which allows me to keep one in my truck all the time. Super bright, almost too bright if you have the slide open, definitely keep it behind you. Best flashlight I own by far.

I'm pretty sure someone saw this light shining on the other side of Texas from me. If you're a flashlight junkie/nerd/hoarder - this guy's a must for your collection. It's so ridiculously bright it's almost comedic. 4/5 stars only because you have to use the USB-C charger it came with. I couldn't use any other USB-C charger, it wouldn't work.

I’m giving this flashlight 1 star solely because the ad description should CLEARLY communicate that it uses a PROPRIETARY 18650 SIZED battery. 1 star will hopefully help my review get noticed by prospective buyers, saving them the hassle I went through.It is the same size format as 1860, but it is proprietary. On the negative end it has 2 contact rings. Think of a bullseye. There is a center contact disc that is surrounded by a 2nd contact ring.The positive end of the battery is similar to a regular raised button, being a single contact. I should have taken a picture but didn’t.The battery goes in backward compared to what you’re used to with the + button top against the spring of the removable battery compartment cap. (I wasn’t paying attention when I removed the battery to remove the small plastic shipping disc that prevents battery contact. I messed with reinstalling the battery and read the instructions for maybe 20 minutes until I realized the battery ’goes in backwards’. 🙄 Another fail IMO. This should be marked!)IF you can get a good look down inside you will see 3 small button contacts that touch the inserted - end. 1 for the center disc contact and 2 for the outer ring contact.After I figured out that the battery goes in backwards, the battery seemed pretty nice! I wanted to keep it. But I was specifically looking for a hot swappable 18650 flashlight for my large collection of 18650 batteries.I use my flashlights on the brightest mode while working, and swap in a new fully charged battery when necessary so I can keep working. I can’t afford to wait for it to recharge. That’s why I need an 18650 flashlight and why THIS flashlight won’t work for me.Had it been clearly stated that it used a proprietary battery and won’t work with any other 18650 batteries I would NOT have purchased it.This is a major oversight. Although it doesn’t state anywhere that it is compatible, it can be inferred. Also, all the incorrect reviews stating it uses an 18650 battery lead you to the WRONG conclusion. I will go back through and angrily ’thumb down’ those reviews….If you don’t need 18650 battery compatibility then this would probably be a great flashlight for you.
