I should have thought of ground bay leaves sooner!
I've used bay leaves in stews, roasts and soups for decades, and always had to fish in the pot for them before serving, or warn my family to look for them in their bowls. I love the flavor that bay leaves gives savory dishes, but it never occurred to me that I could find them ground into powder. Luckily I found this item for sale on Amazon when I was looking for Cajun Spice. I got it with free SuperSaver shipping since I ordered over $25. I used these ground bay leaves in a stew over the weekend, and I'm in love! No more crunchy leaves hiding in the vegetables! I would have normally used 2-3 dried bay leaves, so I added about 1/2 teaspoon of the ground leaves and it was just right. This bottle from McCormick Spice company is 14 ounces, which will last me for years. It smells fresh and has a nice shaker lid, and I plan to use it from now on.

I Love Cooking!!!
As someone who loves to cook and discover new recipes and create my own, I am always purchasing different spices and seasonings (especially in winter when I can't grow my own) for various dishes/cuisines. I do like McCormick brand on a lot of the spices they carry and they're usually my go to for spices like Thyme, Basil, etc (Still grow and use my own fresh Thyme, Rosemary thru winter as they are a hardy spice). But love that I can buy the ground Thyme in bulk thru Amazon! The price is great and the ingredient is quality! Definitely Recommend!

Nice flavor
I could only find Rosemary in the grocery stores that were like little sticks. Cooking with them gave the flavor but eating it was not so good. This is ground very fine, no little sticks to pick out and the flavor is still there.
