For what it is, it does the job well for my 7 and 8 year olds. Old school connections, but I have an old TV so I knew what I was getting. There is an HDMI model for anyone that does not have RCA connections. For those folks that complain the music/volume is too low, check all the settings/dials. There's a dial that controls music fade when singing in the mic. My kids prefer it turned off so they can always hear the music. the unit is loud enough that the entire house will hear it when it is cranked right up.

As usual fast shipping, the package in perfect condition. All the pieces were there, seems to work great, I only turned it on for a moment to make sure it works, however I did not have a CD to make sure it works. When the kid opens it and if it doesn’t work I will update the review. The only downfall I found was the volume wasn’t as loud as I’d expect.

Our 6 year old daughter received this for Christmas and LOVES it! It is easy to use, so she can navigate it herself. I would recommend buying a second microphone with it though, and make sure it fits in the mic holders. A wireless one is awesome because they like to twirl while they sing. They love the lights too!You can use a CD to sing along with, or you can hook up Bluetooth and play anything from you tube, etc., so the song choices are limitless.

Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. Within probably 2-3 weeks the volume control screwed up and doesn't really work any more.. it just goes loud and quiet on it's own. I took it apart to see if I could clean it and fix it, but it's a tiny little microswitch and is just messed up.Would not recommend this product.. seems extremely cheaply made.

We purchased this karaoke machine for my daughter for Christmas, and it worked great for the first couple months. We were quite pleased with functionality and sound quality, and my daughter loved it.Unfortunately, it's as if the main volume knob is too heavy, it seems to be pulling the connections loose inside the machine. The only way to get any sound is to hold a slight upward pressure on the volume knob, as soon as you let go, no sound. Really hope this is just a faulty unit that can be fixed or replaced under warranty.
