A homeowner must have! You can figure out a lot of problems when you can get in close to see them and holy moly does this thing help. It would probably be best on a tablet, for easier viewing, but on a phone you can still easily figure out what's going on. The USB connector is as solid as your port so make sure your phone hasn't taken too many tumbles. While pretty bare bones for a pro it has more than enough reach, light, and camera for the average joe and beats shoving your phone god knows where.

Great unit for what I needed it for. Easy to use and very easy to pair with my tablet. Had no problem getting the app. I'd read other reviews saying the app was difficult but did not have an issue. Great tool to add to the toolbar.well done Klein👍

The product arrived quickly and at a competitive price. A short download of the software from the Google Play store and it's quickly up and running. On my phone it can be set to always open the Klein software when the boroscope is plugged in, so it's virtually instant plug and play. I've read loads of reviews saying others can't get a picture on the camera. They should check if they gave permission to use the phone's camera and storage when they first tried using the ET16. The camera is a VGA specification but good enough for many uses. The image is clear and soon focuses when the camera either stops or slows down its movement (it's a 25fps camera). The adjustable led lights are bright enough but don't expect floodlighting. As per other reviews, the USB cable length is a bit short but easily remedied with an extension cable. The cable length is fine if you're holding your phone and the boroscope brightness adjuster in the same hand, but that's not as easy as it sounds. Klein could have scored some points if they supplied this with an adjustable cradle that holds the phone and boroscope together. I might try and cobble something together from a old selfie stick I have laying around. The software is really easy to use and more than adequate. Overall, a decent bit of kit.
