I rather eat the roasted buckwheat than the white one and this one has a good flavour. Easy to cook, soaked it for 10-15 mins and boil a little bit. Definitely recommend

Forget all that yellowy-greeny stuff sold in health food shops which cooks into a glue-like sludge... This is the real deal buckwheat which is properly roasted and is perfectly fluffy when cooked! One part this buckwheat, two parts cold water - in 15-20 minutes you have the most delicious buckwheat. And, believe me, I've tried a lot of other varieties sold here and out there... This is the proper roasted buckwheat, found at last and very happy.

2nd order, great taste & smell, good packaging.

I am used to strong nutty buckwheat with sweet aftertaste. When I opened the package the smell of the buckwheat was mild which wasn’t a problem, I rinsed 3 times and cooked. The bite was firm which was good however the lack of flavour was disappointing, almost stale tasting? And it left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or not but I am going to try to re roast to bring some flavour back. Overall, good if you like mild taste , but not for me unfortunately because of the bitterness.

Goes well mixed in salad, with olive oil, lemon juice and also stews. In fact it is tastier than white rice, quick to cook (15mins) and tasty with meat, fish and mixed with different ingredients. I got my vegetarian daughter to eat this, but I have to admit my son wasn't too impressed, but there's always one!

Delicious, good quality product. The price however is extortionate. This is a staple food and cheap grain in Eastern Europe, where it’s produced.
