Eberlestock Reveille Sleeping Bag
This bag is pretty beefy. It is nicely lofted for a synthetic bag. Light its cousin the Ultralight, it packs pretty small for a cold weather bag in a very nice stuff sack. One nit pick for both bags...would have been nice to have had a storage sack supplied with the bags. Eberlestock claims that the Carinthia technology for the loft enables it to regain it's shape with no issues, even after long periods of storage. I've never found that to be true with any bag, so I purchased a few storage sacks on my own for piece of mind. Back to the good stuff...although heavier than a down bag, it's still light for a synthetic. And packs surprisingly small. This is a perfect fit for me. I'm 5'10" and 200lbs with a muscular physique. I don't mind mummy bags, but this bag just fits me. I can move around comfortably. The face hole can look claustraphobic...its small when cinched down, but it keeps the warm air in. I love the center zip...very easy to get in and out of. It's warm. I tried it out on a night in the teens...I was very comfortable. With the Reveille combo, I can imagine going sub-zero pretty easily. It's also very durable with a nice foot box. I'm looking forward to next winter to really try it on...

Sleeping like a baby
Great bag! I know a lot of you are looking at the price saying "way too much!" But let me tell you, it isn't! I am no stranger to the Eberlestock family and this is another great addition. It kept me warm in 20° snowy weather. I'm not talking throwing on a couple layers and you'll be fine, I was in my skivvies and very comfortable. I am 5' 10" 200lb and I had plenty of room in all directions. It is super lightweight and with the compression bag it takes up a minuet amount of space. After you lay it out from the bag it puffs right up and has a good amount of filling evenly placed in the bag, even on rocky surfaces this feels like you're back at home sleeping on your mattress! The zipper in the middle isn't as weird as you might think, and I believe it serves a better purpose there! The zipper has a little fold of material underneath it so it won't bother you, and on the outside of the bag the zipper is lined with strategically placed heavy-duty-clingy Velcro. The face hole can be adjusted, and I've even used it open ended with no worries. This is a great warm sleeping bag that I highly recommend, you really get what you pay for!

This is a backpackers dream bag - plenty of room, not tight at the shoulders - no snag zipper - extremely warm - well made - well worth the money

High quality product!!! As usual, Eberlestock never lets me down.
All I can say is this is an awesome bag. I have used it about 6 times now in semi cold temperatures and wet conditions and it was very comfortable. I never got cold at all. It packs up very small and is very light weight (About half the weight of my other bags). I carry a lot of camera gear with me and weight is very important. Craftsmanship is top notch. Very high quality gear. I own other Eberlestock products (Backpacks and dry bags) and love everyone of them. This company knows how to make high quality gear!

Top quality
Phenomenal bag. Night & day difference between this and any other bag I've ever owned. The feel alone at how thick this is will put a big smile on your face, but the quality is typical Eberlestock ... built for major use!

"Awesome..." from a big guy...
At six-two and 270 I ordered the tall bag. I was tired of sleeping bags that were too short, not wide enough, or too cold. This bag is the holy grail.I am a restless sleeper and often am alternating between back, side, and stomach. This bag lets me freely move around all those positions. Sometimes the bag moves with me, but normally I'm able to shift into different positions inside it without the actual bag moving or getting bound up. And even when I'm turned completely away from the completely drawn hood I get a good amount of fresh air and don't experience much cold coming in it.The pictures are a bit misleading. I was worried that the "mummy" shape would restrict my feet too much. Not so. I didn't wake up a single time with that frustrated-leg feeling -- which is unique for me!Packs down pretty small. I packed it inside the USMC improved bivy (the coyote one with the bug net) and the whole thing compressed inside the included compression sack. The only problem is that the bivy is WAYYY smaller than the bag, so it does make you feel slightly be cramped inside. If planning to use a bivy you may need to find one that's a bit bigger, because this thing is LOFTY.It's not the lightest bag or the one that packs down the smallest, but my general experience lately is that the lighter, more compressible bags sacrifice warmth and comfort. Or maybe the ones that are light, compact, comfortable and warm are several hundred bucks and I can't afford them. This one is right on the borderline for me price-wise. But it is completely comfortable, totally warm, and is serviceably light and compactable for backpacking. Maybe you carry an extra pound or a bit more bulk with this bag, but I'd rather do that than try to find sleep while miserable and cold in a bag that carries slightly better...
