Pilot Dr. Grip Ball Point Pens are a real necessity for me: my writing hand was damaged in an accident long ago and although it works ok, I can't write with ordinary pens and pencils for more than a couple of words without some aches and pains. When I ran out of ink in my last one, not realizing I didn't have a backup, I needed them the next day! and they arrived. Comfortable and write smoothly, good black ink.

This is my favorite pen to use. Easy to read with the medium black ink and easy on the hand even if you are using it a lot.

They are easy to grip with sore arthritic hands. They have a "soft" part in the middle and they write smoothly. I love them. They are a go to for me.

The older I get the more I like these pens! They're fat enough that you don't have to squeeze very hard to use them, and the result is no "tired hands" and much better writing control. The pens themselves are not cheap, but they are very high quality and worth every penny. I never thought a pen could make such a difference, but I was waaaay wrong! Pilot Dr. Grip definitely is the right pen for me, and the only pen I'll buy from here on out.

The grip is a little high from the tip, so while it is very comfy in a larger hand is is equally uncomfortable to try to get closer to the point for extra control. The draw is smoother on other pens. Check out theTombow Rollerball Pen Zoom 505,Rollerball 0.5mm for a better draw.

These are the only pen that I can physically hold in my hand with my condition. Yet they are small enough to carry without too much trouble.

This pen is totally comfortable. Has the perfect flow. I know it’s durable because it’s one of the only pens I have ever bought numerous refills for. Hands down performs better than any other pen of its price range!

This has been my favorite pen for years. The larger barrel and shaped barrel makes better writing for older hands, maybe for most regardless of age.
