It is thick for the vertical plant wall but necessary for the stiffness to overcome the weight of the plants in the water. It was easy to cut to size with a serrated knife.

Easier to clean than the past filters I have tried. Get product, I highly recommend this product. Just make sure to measure and buy the correct size you need.

Durable and easy to clean

Very unsatisfied with this filter pad. At first, I liked the fact that it never clogged. The problem is that it doesn't catch enough algae and debris. Two weeks into using this pad, my pond water was green and it took me 30Minutes to backwash all the junk out of my filter. Went back to the standard white filter pads and I have no issues. Just need to hose out the algae every few days.

Easy to cut and hose off when needed.] Placed old filter media over new, marked, and cut with shears. Media is strong and should last several seasons.

I needed 18x18 so cut 2 inches off and it works well
