These are NOT soft penny sleeves... and that's a good thing!
The description calls these penny sleeves, but they are beyond what is traditionally considered a penny sleeve. When I ordered these, I was expecting just that: a penny sleeve with an opaque back. I needed something cheap to sleeve my Pathfinder ACG Core Set, and at 450 cards, the 500 pack worked best.I received these, opened them, and was immediately surprised. They are the harder type and definitely the style you would play an MTG deck with for sure. I sleeved all the Pathfinder cards and there are pros and cons:Pros:- Great for the price- Durable sleeves and not the soft penny sleeves- Hold up pretty well and shuffle really well too (I can shuffle by lightly letting them fall into place versus jamming them together)Cons:- They are slippery for a while and will pop out of your hands (this isn't really negative, but can be frustrating). Every sleeve is like this.- When you stack more than 30 or so, the top cards slide off because they lean forward (towards the top of the cards)- Some of the sleeves are marked or have creases on the back, making them distinguishable (another reviewer noted this). It must be due to the way they are packaged.- They do come jammed together with tape wrapped around them, so the packaging is not optimalOverall, these are good sleeves and I plan on buying more for other games I own.

Great for the Price
Perfectly useable sleeves. I have purchased several sets for a few of my decks, and prefer these sleeves to all the others that I used to use. The back sides are textured, but they are not "matte" finish as the description claims. The gloss finish makes them slick and slippery, however I prefer a gloss finish as it helps with card readability, doesn't mute the appearance of foil cards, and makes shuffling easier. The back side is not see through with the darker sleeve colors. You can slightly see the back of the cards with the yellow sleeves, but not enough to be a problem. I think they would still be considered "tournament legal." Great budget option for protecting your deck.

My favorite cheap sleeves
These sleeves are cheap, accessible, and a wonderful value for bulk binders and sleeving up commander decks. Love 'em and I intend to keep buying them into the future.

Solid Card Sleeve
Overall these are nice sleeves. They fit the cards (magic) very well. They do shuffle well and have held up without any issues after numerous uses. The only issue and the reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because there is a slight waviness on the clear side of the sleeves. It hasn’t affected performance any but it doesn’t look the greatest and tends to catch a glare from lights more than a sleeve that lays flat. I would recommend these, especially for someone looking budget friendly options.

Great card sleeves!
Very good card sleeves. They fit my pokemon cards nicely. They also fit into most card binders tooThey don't wrinkle or crease easily and show off holo designs really well. The problem with all shiny sleeves is the light glare. So definitely keep that in mind before you buy these sleeves, as they are NOT MATTE.They hold up really well and can definitely protect the cards when being played.I saw some people say that some sleeves fell apart, but so far, all my sleeves have been in perfect condition even after use.I know these aren't name brand but for some cheap and reliable cards sleeves, these are a pretty solid choice.

Nice sleeves
These fit the card perfectly. The clear side is super clear. Nice and strong. Not easily ripped. The texture is nice my son and I both love how it feels. These sleeves are great, they are easy to use doesn't slip outta your hand and easily shuffled. Definitely recommended!

Pretty good value sleeves! I'm honestly excited.
Ok so I have 3 mtg commander decks that have over $2000 worth of cards in them. I'm not using these sleeves on them.BUT I am enjoying building cheaper decks for funner play. These card sleeves are awesome.I've bought super cheap ones from china on other marketplaces like e.bay. They are very inconsistent and 2/5 packages have serious splitting or printing problems. This is the best buy I've had in a while. I can't believe I can sleeve 5 decks for about $17.Some have said they are very slippery. They're not too bad. The real issue is that they do "puff" at the bottom and lean with 30+ cards. BUT that's just when you first sleeve them. The name brand ones also do that ... but they are heavier material and it's not so pronounced. Since these are a little thinner material, the puffing is just more pronounced.Easy solution -- sleeve the cards and put them under a heavy book overnight. I made 4 equal stacks and left it a day under my Bevington Shakespeare tome and Longman Anthology of British Literature. Checked again this evening and the deck is only very slightly higher on the "bottoms" side. Use, storage and shuffling will flatten them out well. The shuffle texture is nice. Like others said, it really does feel like you drop them in to shuffle instead of having to push them in. Very smooth but not as slick as other card sleeves at this price range.I do believe that double sleeving would work with this, but I don't see the point. These are great for cheaper decks but they would also work for double sleeved.

Not for competing, casual play only
You can totally see the magic card back through the white, it only really matters when a token back makes you notice. Not for tournament play but ideal for cubes. At this price point, color code your casual cubes and decks. Also if you get charged a $5 shipping fee it gets reimbursed to you like 2 months later as a courtesy credit.I've bought many, most sleeves are way overpriced for what they are. This is a good deal considering...
