Swapped my C4 Ripped for this product. It has more caffeine which gives me extra energy for my CrossFit workouts. The black cherry flavor tastes great! And it has beta alanine for a thermogenic effect.

Okay, to start with, the flavor is fine (more blue-raspberry lemonade than blueberry lemonade but I can live with that).However the other side effects are startling to say the least. I had chugged the two scoop serving with 14 oz of water (it says use between 12-16 oz for two scoops and I’ve always had to follow instructions to the letter so 14oz it is).It says drink 30-40 min before workout, so I chug it and head to my gym which is conveniently a 30 min drive from my home and then complete a 5 min warm up.I go through my regular exercises and about a third of the way through my workout I feel some “rumblies in my tumblies” as Pooh the bear would say…the irony of both the bears name and the future consequences of my pre-workout choice will become evident as my review progresses.Around two thirds of my way through my workout I began to feel like a 30ft ball python was violently working it’s way through my entrails.I assumed (wrongly) that this was due to me trying out the gyms new abs machine and told myself it must just be the muscle swelling from my beast of a core workout causing my guts to feel as if they were being rearranged.By the time I was completing my final circuit on the rowing machine I knew something was amiss…I decided to cut the last 8 minutes of my workout to head to the bathrooms which are connected to the locker rooms by an open floor plan, (this is information that will become relevant in a moment).I took a quick detour into the nearest stall to release what I hoped was just a bout of gas.How wrong I was. I quickly realized that this was not a gas bubble but rather a ritualistic disemboweling. The exorcist films are less graphic than what proceeded to leave my body. At one point I think I began praying for my own survival. Not only did I feel that my entrails were being violently expelled from my body but the accompanying stench of burnt hair and death permeated the cubicle.It was at this unfortunate moment that an unsuspecting gym goer happened to enter the locker room. I was holding my breath at this point but immediately did a courtesy flush hoping to hide the stench however the force of the flush had the opposite effect and wafted the noxious gas into the shared space between the bathrooms and the locker rooms.I have never heard a locker slammed so fast nor a retreat so quick. Bless them.I will say this, minus possibly missing a kidney or my colon I did weigh almost 3 lbs less when I weighed myself after returning home.Please be forewarned. With great power comes great responsibility, and the turbo effect this powder will have on your system may lead to civilian casualties. Use responsibly.

Pretty good energy Pretty workout no shakes or jitters

Very very sweet and just... Not the best flavor. I had not the more thermogenic one but the green one by this company in Cherry limeade and it had been really good. Black cherry however very sickly sweet and is too much, maybe we'll be the better if I dilute even more with water than usual... As a drink it reminded me of the cherry ices you get, so maybe I should just drink it cold to be better but... Idk.

comparing this with other brands, is spectacularly effective, do not give the shaking or the feeling like ants are crawling on your skin, flavor is great. only reason I don't give the 5 stars is because it sends you to the bathroom very often after drinking, (#1 in case you're wondering); it gives you a natural sensation of energy, and don't crash you afterwards.
