Arrived damaged but got a full refund. Would've been a nice item if it wasn't damaged

This was my second R2D2 coffee press the original one I purchased in Canada at EB games for $19.99 while cleaning it I accidentally hit it from my drying rack and it smashed into pieces.EB games discontinued the product for some reason, so I bought it off Amazon. After the second press the handle flew to the bottom of the press, which I found really odd because if you have ever pressed coffee down, you know it’s a slow process haha. After I lifted the handle up, I found out that where it’s connected the bolt just broke and went through the holder. Other then using a toxic glue substance which won’t be very good since I’m using it with hot water! There is no way to fix this.I am lucky that I kept the Lid from my original press, that fit perfectly. I’m giving it two stars because this style of press is a lot different from the one I got for cheaper which worked better.

This little guy is plastic and glass. While it is a functional coffee press I would recommend it as more of a decorative piece. Partially because the mesh filter screen and it’s plastic apparatus do not come apart which would make it impossible to clean but also because I would be concerned the paint may wear when washed. Definitely worth the money for a kitchen decoration but I’ll be getting a higher quality coffee press for day to day use.

Wir hatten ja schon vermutet,dass die Qualität nicht doll ist, aber die Vermutungen wurden noch unterschritten... Wirklich billiger Kunststoff, der Siebdeckel ging bei der zweiten Benutzung ab. Man kauft das zwar wegen des Designs und die Lizenzgebühren sind teuer, aber funktionieren darf es trotzdem...

Bought this as a gift and my hubby loves it!!! Just as pictured and very good quality amazing buy!!! And came in so fast!!!
