I like all the Jovial pastas, but this one is a really luxe gluten free experience, I use it for special meals, like my bolognese that takes all afternoon to simmer.It has a great texture and really good flavor, very close to wheat pasta.

I have been looking for a gluten free egg noodle that doesn't contain potato starch for so long, and I finally found it in these noodles. Thanks to them I can enjoy my dad's amazing chicken noodle soup again. (I just break them up a bit since they are very long.) They taste just like regular egg noodles, if not better, and have a really great texture. I am so glad that I found these! Definitely add them to your gluten free pantry if you ever make any kind of noodle soup. You won't be disappointed!

I’ve always used Barilla GF pasta — until discovering Jovial. I will never again use another GF pasta. Jovial nailed it to the point where those of us without celiac didn’t notice the difference. When using Jovial products for the person living with celiac in your life, this is not just a swap. This is an absolute substitute for wheat based pasta. You will not be able to tell the difference. 10 out of 10. Will never go back to any other pasta.

It holds up well, and you don’t have to disguise the flavor with crazy sauces! We love it with a little oil, salt and pepper, or a little grated cheese.

Great taste -- you wouldn't know it's gluten free. Won't buy any other pasta now.

Ok, let's face facts: a gluten-free diet is killer on the wallet. At about $6 for 9 ounces, Jovial's GF brown rice tagliatelle is one of the most expensive GF pastas out there. But I have to say, it is one of the best tasting!I recently got a copy of America's Test Kitchen's new GF cookbook, and they reviewed several brands of GF pasta. Their favorite, at least for lasagna, was Jovial's brown rice pasta. I agreed with their assessments of other GF pastas (Ancient Harvest' corn/quinoa blends are too grainy and taste terrible with any kind of sauce), so I decided to try one of the Jovial pastas. I ordered this tagliatelle because it's the closest to fettucine, and I love making fettucine alfredo from scratch.I did a taste test earlier today and cooked up just a little bit. At 10 minutes and about 20 extra seconds (I wasn't in the kitchen when the timer went off!), it was just becoming mushy. But it tasted great! So tonight, I made the rest and mixed it with my alfredo sauce, and it was delicious! I cooked it for only 9 minutes and 30 seconds and it came out just right. My husband tasted it and said it tasted like an Asian fettucine. LOL. (He is most likely to have brown rice if we're having Chinese food!) But he liked it quite a bit.My only concern was that, as I prepared to pour the rest of the bag into the pot, I spotted a few pieces that had black specks all over them! I removed those and cooked up the rest, since my earlier sample had tasted fine and I didn't get sick. I will be contacting the company and will update my review when I hear what they have to say. GF products tend to get moldy very quickly (I literally bought this a week ago), so I hope it wasn't sitting around and that it wasn't indeed mold.

The taste and texture of the noodles are wonderful. I love egg noodles but because I'm gluten intolerant it's necessary for me to avoid them. Finding this product and seeing good reviews made me give the product a try, despite the expensive price. This review is based on the taste and texture only; to me, this comes as close to regular egg noodles as I think possible. Very expensive for egg noodles, but this product is imported from Italy and because it's GF is definitely a specialty item. Thank you Amazon for bringing it to us!

This product was amazing! Most gluten free pastas are slimy and/or do not hold their texture. This was just as good as gluten egg noodles. A must have pantry item for gluten free diets! Looking forward to trying more products from this line

One box of unbelievably expensive gluten free pasta that arrived in a plastic bag (no extra packaging) and was in a million little pieces. Unusable.However I advised them of this and a full refund was issued immediately so good customer service.

Unforgivably expensive! I thought it was a multipack!
