Box Insert: Everdell & Expansions

Finally got my full Everdell Collector’s Edition organized 😁.This is an ambitious game insert intended to organize the cards and component pieces from four Everdell boxes into the core box. This excludes all of the many game boards, as those take up a ton of space, and they’ll need to be stored in one of your three remaining expansion boxes along with the Ever Tree and scorepad..First off—this organizer is an absolute blessing. A game with THIS much content and components takes a while to set up and clean up, but this organizer is a total game changer. You can easily distribute out critters, quickly find the cards you want to play with, keep your monuments and signs constructed and stored safely, and quickly set up resource pools. Cards fit sleeved, pieces fit snug, and I don’t have to worry about pieces falling out of place and getting mixed up..The foam is light-weight yet sturdy. Constructing the inserts only requires glue and patience, and it’s a fun and enjoyable experience for me personally. The instructions that were included were easy to follow, and the videos online are a huge help. If you’re looking for a storage solution for all this Everdell content, I’d highly recommended Folded Space!

Well made and easy to put together. Instructions are simple and easy to follow. We used hot glue to keep them together as taking them out of the box was very hard to do without them coming apart. The major frustration with this is that there’s no room for the most important and iconic aspect of the game, The Ever Tree. Because everything is so packed into the box with no room left at the top, the box doesn’t close all the way, leaving a 1.5” bump that keeps the box from sitting flush. It’s a small frustration that’s made into a deal breaker if you have your games organized in a way that banks on all of them closing as designed by the game manufacturer. It’s a great idea to make it all fit in one box, except it doesn’t. *sigh*
